If thou art sinning, it might behoove you to pursue righteousness ...
1 Timothy 6:11-12 …
But you, O man of God, flee these things (sins) and pursue righteousness
Paul taught …
grace >> belief-faith >> obedience >> righteousness >> holiness >> everlasting life

The Lord looked down from heaven upon the children of men to see if there were ANY that did under stand, and seek God. They are ALL gone aside, they are ALL together become filthy: THERE IS NONE that doeth good or seek God. NO NOT ONE Plsm 14:2 and 3. The apostle Paul repeats this in Romans 3:10
As it is written there is NONE rightous no not one. He continues............"There is NONE that understands, there is NONE that SEEKETH after God........There is NONE that doeth GOOD no, NOT ONE. If NONE seek GOD nor DO GOOD ............the work of the holy spirit is to begin A new spiritial life, and give comfort, to those who would NOT seek God or do good on there own. After the new birth, we can rest from our work and trust in his, knowing that any good done by the Spirit is perfect and forever and any attemp by us to do good will fail. If your not gloryifing God who ARE you gloryifing? The more you push forward the more you fail, rather rest from your work and be content with the work of his spirit. You no longer strive to please him, you rejoice in that the spirit of God pleases him and that he included you in his Great Salvtion plan. Trust HIM and him alone.
After the new Birth what can you offer to improve or make the work of God better or more holy?

One short note.......... God overcame the world and so we overcome the world . That is faith! Believing he finished it all and we can rejoice in him. WE don't just sit around doing nothing, we rush out to tell others their need of a saviour who did it all.................

However, this only has to do with His part in our salvation!
The part that you are missing is that we are in a mutual relationship.
There are things we must do regarding our part in our salvation!
The NASB is widely recognized as being the most literal English translation.
John 3:36 New American Standard Bible ...
He who believes in the Son has eternal life;
but he who does not obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.
And there are about 10 other translations that state it this way.
And there are perhaps 100 other verses which back this verse up!
In the beginning, you believed and were saved.
Then, if you do NOT obey Jesus' commands and do NOT co-operate with the Holy Spirit,
you fall from grace and lose your salvation!
Of course, you may re-group, confess, repent, etc. and get back on the narrow path again.
Very simple ... but not taught in the Laodicean churches.

So God has Done ALL he can and now it's up to you? What kind of God do you worship who can't even save someone unless they let him?
My GOD is HOLY and will not fail to save his peole and he has done it all. Brother we are ALL sinners and God punishes men for their sins. Can you keep all the Law perfectly in the flesh? The spirit does not sin and God does not need help from his creation. The spirit is different from the flesh. We ALL die physically but the spirt of God lives forever giving praise and honor and Glory to him for what he has done. He alone is worthy.
Thou art worthy , O Lord, to recieve glory and honor and power: for thou has created all things, and for they pleasure they are and were created. Rev 6:1
My Bible says ........he that believeth not the son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abideth on him. It is sad when men try to make a translation to make the bible eaiser to understand. They will fail. It is terrible to change the phrase, " he that believeth not " to "he who does not obey." What a travesty trying to change God's Sovernignty.
Prehaps you could list just 10 verses from the KJB to support your conclusions and for me to examine.
God gives us the faith to believe from begining to end He starts it and he finishes it and does not need your or my help.

Our God lives and reigns on his throne as the living God right now ruling his creation as the great Soverign God of all. His name is JESUS CHRIST the LORD and SAVIOUR. Glory IN HIM.

One very quick note...... I see statements like God is trying to do this or that. God does not TRY to do anything. HE DOES IT and he is Holy and the living God ruling right now over his creation.

Please note ... God had His reasons for not creating robots!
Why don't you ask Him what His reanons were?

Yes, you are absolutely correct about Gen. 4:6, which says ...
So the Lord said to Cain, "I will not allow you to choose to have sin rule over you!"
Actually, He says that in Scripture ... all the time to everyone ... including today!
Woe is me! ...

A good debate........May the word of God be exalted at all times . yes I get it ........Man is DEAD to spiritial things. DEAD, unable to choose to be born again. Man had no choice in his natural Birth and has no choice in the spiritial Birth. Mans free will , will always oppose spiritial things unless God alone gives his spirit and creates within him a new heart and a new spirit. That is why in Plsm 51:10 David under the ispiration of the holy spirit wrote, "Creat in me a clean Heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me." In Fact Plsm 21 was a wonderfull prayer of David.
There is no sacrifice man can make to God. For thou desirest not Sacrifice: else I would give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and contrite heart, O God thou wilt not despise. ...Plsm 51:16 and 17. A broken spirit, when man realizes he is totally

I'm not talking about his choice to accept salvation, or not.
God chooses who gets His free gift of grace-faith.
I'm talking about all other times.

Need to clarify! God KNEW who would be saved, but not us! Heb. 11:2-3

But after that, he is responsible for keeping his salvation, by his own free will?
God's will is that All men be saved. By His will He created man with his own free will.

Huh?? Those two statements sound contradictory to me.
HOW does one obey God. You want people to listen to you, Don't Sin, or you will go to eternal damnation. Right? What is your very BEST advice as to HOW to overcome??
