Strengthening families through biblical principles.
Focus on the Family addresses the use of biblical principles in parenting and marriage to strengthen the family.

In other words, 'election' means nothing. It's all terminology, nothing more
In regard to Judas all God had to do was pick someone who loved money so much they would sell out even the Son of God. Judas was already a "devil" of sorts before he was picked.
If a chosen one never hears of Jesus - is that one lost or does he make it anyway? The choice was made by God before he made the world.

Josef - this is your chance to convince me - cause I'l still confused. Like I have said before, this is a confusing theology.pizza said:If a chosen one never hears of Jesus - is that one lost or does he make it anyway?
For God so loved the elect, that He gave His only begotten Son, that the predestined ones who believe shall not perish, but have eternal life.

Probably from the base of G2865; orderly arrangement, that is, decoration; by implication the world (in a wide or narrow sense, including its inhabitants, literally or figuratively [morally]): - adorning, world./(Strongs)
Uhh, not sure what version you're reading? All the versions I've read have world where you have elect. I have posted Strongs translation of the word for your perusal. The greek. ??
This is Serious stuff, not a game or idle talk and our eternal destiny is at stake...
Your false election Doctrine has been Myth Busted!!!! leaving out scriptures, twisting thing around is a bad thing to do.

How can that be if you are the "elect" and OSAS.
That is what I'm trying to get him to explain. On one hand, he tells us God made up His mind eons ago. THEN he tells us our eternal destiny is at stake - WHAT STAKE?
Did God make up His mind for us or not?
At this point, I am unsure of what Josef believes AND what "election" means.

Scripture? Jesus called him friend, the devil did not enter in until Judas took the bread after Jesus said someone would betray me. That was His choice, as I am sure at one time Judas was just as excited as everyone with Jesus.
Mike.
At this point it is irrelevant.
The Myth Buster has stepped in and officially declared the Gospel of Election as a Certified Myth.
It's over now, my work is done.
Moving along.
Jesus knew before then (last supper) that one of them was a devil. Judas helped himself to the money bag and was noted as a thief. Its clear to me he loved money more then God. God's purpose was ordained (Jesus on the cross) but Judas made his own choices.
If a chosen one never hears of Jesus - is that one lost or does he make it anyway? The choice was made by God before he made the world.
3) The non-answer. This is where the one promoting this confusing and odd theology does respond, but cannot actually answer the question, they are trapped by their own confusing and odd theology. You can expect pages of bible verses, complexity, stressed and tired theology and (probably) the invention of new terms (or the possible mis-use of conventional terms) that never sets in your mind just WHAT this person is preaching. It will occur to you that even they may not really know why they are promoting this theology.
Just for the record (Eccl. 12:13-14) we find that many will be saved by no personal knowledge of Christ, but do know Him through His Nature!
