I promise that i will pray for God's direction. And that i will only go where He leads. Cuz i can guarantee you that my desire is to see All men saved and serving the Lord, and that there be no sickness or disease! It hurts my heart (makes me cry) to see the comercials on tv with the children who have cancer knowing that they did nothing to deserve it.

Beloved, you have come full circle, first you say it's God will that everyone is healed, but when confronted with the actual facts you say they are not healed because of their lack of faith.

We read faith comes from hearing and hearing from the Word of God, so then what happened, didn't God give them the faith to be healed, ...or was it His will not to give them the faith to be healed, but wait, let's add in what you said about God being the same yesterday, today and tomorrow, so is it, God didn't give them the faith, or it wasn't God's will, if it's either one of those responses then we need to erase God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow from our Bibles because that is God having preference, ...but if He is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow the only conclusion we can come to and accept is it is the will of God to heal some and to allow some to not be healed and that proves the statement, God wants everyone to be healed is not Scriptural.

Well, me. I want more time here to work, and I'm kind of with old Hezekiah. He prayed, and got 15 more years reprieve from a sentence of certain death. And that sentence was from God, Himself.

I want to work every day until He calls me home but there is nothing here that prevents me from desiring Heaven, right now, not even my Deeter and boy, do I love that lady!

A very real fact in the scripture 3 Jn 1:2 “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth” is that he is not speaking of becoming rich in worldly things.

1 Tim 4:10. For, therefore, we both labor and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the savior of all men, specially of those that believe. Repeating (2 Cor 11:30) using the NIV > Paul says, if I must boast, I will boast of the things that show my weakness - It seems the sufferings he endured were counted by him as prosperous to his soul and life. He considered himself to be prospering and healthy only in the context of how his life was prospering in things pertaining to winning Christ. Surely it has to be evident by now that Paul at this time did not possess material wealth or bodily health.

God does allow thorns of the flesh such as we read of in:
2 Cor 12:7 And lest I (Paul) should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.
2 Cor 12:8 For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me.
2 Cor 12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
2 Cor 12:10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

a complete read of the book of Job will reveal the context of Rollo statements.

First of all we are not living under job's covenant with God and second Job had no idea there was even a accusser of the bretheren and Job and His mouth is what began all this trouble job faced. You know all the worry He spoke about his kids sinning against God and stuff.

With that said our covenant with God through the blood of Jesus is nothing at all like what Job had. So how does the book of Job reveal how we see God today? I think I missed your point.

Yes God put's in a measure of "Faith" in all of us...We agree
"Faith" comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God again we agree
Now then you really need to study the word of God and learn all about Faith and how it works and what other things must be along with ones faith......

First of all Cturtle never changed a thing when confronted with post not facts. It is God's will that we all be healed BUT it is not up to GOD to get us healed. You speak as if a parson does not get something then it is not God's will.
Yes God never changes and neither does His word.....That does not help in your statement at all.

We must first develope the faith God places in us. We must renew the mind unto HIs way of doing things and this will build up your faith as well. Some people dont have enough faith to trust God in little things little know something big like healing. Faith must be unswaying and stable or fixed on God and HIs word. Another words the doctors words does not move you or change you or what it feelslike or looks like or what your pastor tells you. The only thing thatmoves you or that you respond to is what GOD says in His word. By His stripes we are healed is but only one of many different promises of God for healing.

Now then if you walk in unforgivness or not walking in Love as the word teaches us, well brother this too can and will effect how much your faith truly works........ Howmany times in the word of God did He tell us we must beleive we have what we pray for or ask for etc.....MANY TIMES........He is not saying that we have to see it with our eyes or simply say we beleive we have received it. NO my friend you must see it in your spirit and that is called revelation and once this takes place then your FAITH will be STRONG.....

Jesus could come lay hands on some one sick and if they did not beleive it or did not want to be healed then all of Jesus prayers would sercome to nothing........Jesus does not simply wiggle His knose and poof it's done. No man has free will even in healing.....Go around saying man I know I am going to get the flu, ohhhhhhhh I feel so sick I am going to get the flu........well brother I will send you some chicked soup cause your gonna get the flu.
Why because your words either enhance your faith or destroy your faith. Brother you really need to study more about this.......
OBTW......when Jesus told the man to rise and walk.........well if he would have said, man I cant walk whats wrong with you..........well it would have ended right there. Jim, I believe much of the Word just like you, ...but the difference is in the application, you really don't know me that well and to say I need to study what faith is......., the Lord told me to come to this third world country with only a one way ticket, to not have any legal papers that would allow me to stay longer than a tourist and I was to depend on Him to supply all of my needs and not accept one penny of support, two of those were impossibilities for me and I had offers of total support........., yet Father miraculously supplied a one way ticket, I was stopped at Immigration both in San Francisco and here, but Father brushed them aside, I was called into Immigration to explain what and how I was staying in the country, but Father blinded their eyes, I hit the shores without a penny to my name and now my cup is running over, ...that was almost 24 years ago, the Lord has healed through my hands and the people didn't have the faith to be healed, the Lord has performed miracles through my hands and I wasn't acting in faith, in fact I wasn't aware of the miracles until after it they had happened, ...I have lived moment by moment 24/7 in faith, I not saying I know it all, but I have the works James was talking about that attests to my faith.

Getting huffy has never worked for me nor against me. There are a couple of ways to express your thoughts without coming off as better than though but, honest as I can be, this one is easy to upset folks.

This all began far enough back that i just had to back up and get the context, I suggest you do also. You asked another a question and quoting your post, so as to give you the link back to the origin, I explained that you would find the answer to your question in the book of Job.

You are giving the image of being one of the Latter Day New Testament Christians or one of the New Covenant Christians. In truth, there are thousands of types of Christians but this modern day ear tickling New Covenant and newer New Testament Christian is not correct. The Bible Jesus, Paul, Peter and the others taught from is not the books that were not written then. The Bible is the Texts Jesus taught every lesson from are those included in the Jewish version of the Bible or those in the first thirty-nine books of the Christian versions. The other 27 books are commentaries on the first thirty-nine. All of it is worthy of study and is, indeed, profitable to any man seeking to find God.

The power of God is commented on in the last twenty-seven but they are referencing from the first thirty-nine and if we want to know the one true God we must have no aversion to studying al of the Bible and a great example of the answer to your question to the other person lies in the Book of Job. I'm sorry but as was recently pointed out to me, making scriptural assertions without posting the scripture address is not a workable proposition. Do you think you can give the scripture address' for your thoughts here in this post? I'd like to comment but I have no road map to where you are.

Karl ever run across the phrase "even as God" or "even as Jesus" We are created in His image. When we became born again He placed His dna in our spirit being.....Jesus told us we can do what He has done and even more but we got to walk with renewed minds and spirits in His word.

Karl actually Lazarus had Faith and He knew Jesus but Karl he was kind of dead now so what is your point here.

All of Gods born again spirit filled children should be walking whole and healthy and blessed but their not and this is simply the fault of the believer......God has given us His word and every resource we will ever need to walk in this life now blessed in every way. Not one time have i spoken that we don't need God or depend on God and I am also very familiar with the names of God..........But do not forget that was before God put into effect a BETTER WAY a brand new COVENANT through the Blood of Christ.... We have been redeemed from the curse of the law so what is sickness ?? Hint it is part of the cures so we have been redeemed from the curse of sickness. My point here is this......believers are sick and not getting healed why ? Not God's choice ? Poppy Cock for it has and ALWAYS WILL BE GOD'S DESIRE.......however when a believer does not know his or her place in this new covenant or in Christ then they walk a limited salvation. it is always going to be up to the believer to work out their salvation, which means God did His part now we have to renew our minds unto His way of doing things and seeing things and saying things and believing what ever He said in His word. Most people lack here......that is what I am talking about.

I have yet to say God wont heal a non believer if they do not have faith......God will and does to show Himself.

However we are talking about tongue talken, spirit filled, blood washed born again people of God.

I have not said that God wont heal some one to show Himself if they have little faith....However as a whole, too many Christians miss it from lack of Faith............You can not stand on your healing if you are wavering in your spirit being or talking doubt and unbelief and so forth .

Ok one more thing,
People like Lazarus were under the "old" covenant and Jesus had not shed His blood yet to redeem us or another words they simply were not a "born again" people as we are and we live under a new and better "Covenant" that will not ever change. So you truly can not compare people under the old covenant to people under the new covenant.
Hope this sheds some light on what I am saying..........

Some where along the line there seems to be some mis-understanding...Sorry if I caused this..... I dont get mad brother, there is no profit in it for it only causes confusion and strife and all that makes stress and I have no place in my life for this.

Now then I will give scripture refferences but it will have to wait until tomorrow for this. It will take a little more time then what I have right now to do this right.

God th Father and God the Holy Spirit are spirit beings, just as all angels and Demons are. DNA has extension into the Space/Time Continuum God created for us. When a man or a woman dies their DNA is buried, I hope, six foot deep. we do not take our dna with us and there is no idea, let alone biblical proof of such an idea. You need to be careful with this, heresy is not allowed here and it seems to me that this is skating on some thin ice, brother.

Another words when God sends you or tells you to do something, Everything you will ever need or require is already been authorized on your behalf....Some times (ok many times) we have to use faith or walk in faith to access this provision but if God called you to do it, then He is going to get you through it....
That in it's self makes the difference in your testimony and what we are talking about.

Nooooo, I did not basically yell at you nor at anyone else. Building computers since it was point to point soldering, I know how to yell on the internet. But as a Christian I do not fear death, it has no sting! We are to live by faith and that is not with one foot in this world while we try to sneak the other into Heaven and i admit, I worry about people that do not obey.

Jesus told us to forget our mothers, fathers, wives and children and to move closer, ever closer to Him. (Luke 14:13) You see, scripturally, you and Willie are my prayer burden, the same is true of Reba and all the Christians like us. We are not yelling at anyone, especially not me. I learned early, after making NCO that following the Army model made your men hate your guts but a soft word of reconciliation always heals profitably.

I just wanted to apologize for thinking that you were yelling at me. I am new to forums, and talking back and forth in a discussion manner, and it not being one yelling at another. Growing up, (i just realized) i believed the lie, that if i had an opinion other than my dad's or another adults, i was being rebellious. So i am now learning how to be ok with having an opinion, and how to write it out. Again my apologies for misunderstanding.
