Guess our heritage.

dirtfarmer here

I am American, born in Georgia, USA. My great grandfather on my mother's side was full Cherokee. As I see AMERICA was populated by Indians first. On my dad's side they come from Ireland and a mixture of others. I don't consider myself "Irish American, nor do I consider my self Cherokee and what ever my great grandmother was. I am proud to be AMERICAN with no attached adjectives attached. Just a plain old AMERICAN that lives in Georgia headed to heaven!!!!!

That's me.....just an American.
I mean I've got German, Irish, Croatian, and apparently some Oriental in my family line. So what am I supposed to say I am?????
It all seems kind of meaningless to me.

borders, they all do seem kinda meaningless and artificial. what is important is that each and everyone of us is made in the image of God.

Ooh fighting talk.

I would never say I am from England. I live in England but I was born in the greatest country on earth.

Wales?

I only know what I know about my heritage from word of mouth and knowing where my parents and grandparents came from. Well, there is documentation from some genealogy research my aunt did, too.

You're from New York City?
You seemed like a Vermonter to me.
f
You know that i am a Pepper Bellied Mexican born into a White and American Indian family because George the stork was ten year past forced retirement and could not read the stinkin' address! I hate those filthy stinking white boy Greengos. Why would an Apache marry a white woman and that stupid stork No time to take the eye test?
