Yup, I filleted my little finger on my right hand with the sharpening of two of my four inch pen knife blades while using each to fine finish the other. The doctor was impressed and laughed his whole way through the eighty stitches it took to reattach the filleted meat! Me thinks Doctors have a warped since of humor and the sewing hurt a good deal more than the slicing!

Doctors have to be a little warped. All they see, all day, is sick people, people mangled in wrecks, and occasionally some with bullet holes, or as your case, people with knife wounds. 80 stitches probably gave him enough time to bring tears to his eyes from laugher. After your "filet finger" experience, did it ever cross your mind to change from being a "picker" to a fileter?

I was going to say yep!, but that depends on who is by your side. If Christ is dwelling in you, it is comforting to be able to read about the outcome before it happens, but if not, then it is just a bunch of happenings with no way of understanding the future.

I'll tell you this:
When I used to travel to Italy many years ago, I would notice a very big difference. In food, in how people acted, dressed, customes.

Now everything seems the same in both here and there. It's kind of sad really. What caused it? TV, movies, the media, satellite dishes, the internet and all that. Is this what you're saying? We're all the same now.
