that is true, while im against divorce, it makes no sense to me to stop gays from marriage and not have the government pick what person we can marry. divorce alone has made a mockery of marriages.

Some of the stuff I watch has questionable content too... I try not to throw out the baby with the bath water, unless there is way too much bath water and the movie/show is nothing but sex or violence.

As was mentioned, we are so desensitized, when the occasional private body part flashes, it means nothing and easy to fast forward through the typical sex scene that seems almost mandatory these days. It's like they've all settled with the fact they have to do their part for the Devil....promote free love and drop a few F bombs and he'll give them some guaranteed money for the film just for that, they'll even do he occasional GD that was rare not too long ago.

As my dad once asked me: does it have redeemable qualities?
I guess the question to ask is what do I get out of the show? What do I like about it? Would it be just as enjoyable without the questionable content, or do I like it for the wrong reasons?

I think part of my problem is that the American media influences people the world over, and our media is now gay-affirming to the max. I feel like we may be exporting a lot of our own immorality, basically.

That would be placing them much higher than they really are. Gay affirming has been going on in many different places, wasn't really given birth to and grown and watered and propagated in the lands which you live. As a matter of fact that nation is very much a follower on this one.
