Hello from Israel!

Hello people! My name is Mike i'm 26 y/o (in a week :yes) I was born originally in the USSR to a Jewish mother and a catholic father, I was studying Torah in school until I entered the church in the first time like a few years ago and got in love with Christianity, I felt something different, something pure, I know there is a tons of Christianity streams but I love the catholic one (especially after my trip to Prague and Vienna) I want to explore the religion and connect more with Jesus.
P.S. - I was borin in St. Michael the archangel day (21/11)

Hi Mike and it's a pleasure to have you join us. I do hope you find this to be a place that you can learn and talk of spiritual things to help in your walk with Christ.

I will just mention this right off as concerning out ToS (Terms of Service) located near the top of the home page filed under "Quick links", there are the following conditions as pertaining to Catholic discussion. In actuality there should be no difference, but dogma or doctrines are so varied it causes arguments. I do hope you will stay around and find them out. We do have Catholics on these forums.

ToS - Discussion of Catholic doctrine will be allowed in the One on One Debate Forum and End Times forum only. RCC content in the End Times forum should relate to End Times beliefs. Do not start new topics elsewhere or sway existing threads toward a discussion or debate that is Catholic in nature.

God bless you in Jesus' name. :waving

wait Catholics differ from Christians? a lot?
Hi Mike and yes there are many differences in our doctrines as to how we are saved, and what we are to be doing as we go through our journey with the Lord. Both groups are Christians, and not only is there differences there, there are thousands of separate schisms within the other than RCC Catholic Christianity. As you enter discussion and debate withing our forums I believe God will lead you to grow in grace and knowledge of Him and you can then make up your mind concerning truth. I will say that just because a person claims a certain religion of Christianity does not necessarily make them born of God, and you will learn these things here.

Blessings in Christ Jesus. :)

wait catholics differ from christians? a lot?

Catholics are Christians, but not all Christians are Catholics.

Welcome to Christianity... there are thousands of denominations that make up the Body of Christ. Sometimes we forget that because a foot doesn't look like a hand and unity doesn't mean uniformity.

God bless and it's good to have you!

Hi Mike, good to see you. God bless His Word to you.

It's good to weigh professed versions of Christianity against the Bible, the Word of God, and to put it above tradition, architecture or relics. The central message of the Bible is the Lord Jesus Christ and His love for sinners expressed in His sin-atoning death at the Cross.

Welcome Mike. You'll find lots of good folks here, and lots of good Christian discussion.

I've visited Israel several times, and love your country.

Welcome, Mike! Praying that you stay safe in light of current events over there.
