Hello Christian Forums,
I stumbled across this site from a google search about religious forums because frankly I was bored and wanted some mental stimulation in the form of debate. I am an atheist agnostic who fully realizes many nones tend to talk down to people of religion with an undeserved arrogance. I'd just like to state that I'm not here to do that, and that most atheists aren't either. Although it is likely a larger percent of atheists on internet forums are. I'm mainly interested in debating politics and social issues, opposed to attempting to prove or disprove any belief system.
About me:
I'm in my mid twenties, married, and live in the southern US. I was raised in an evangelical christian home, went to christian private school for the entirety of my lower education, and considered myself a "born again" christian until I went to college. I've read the bible (NIV) at least twice in its entirety, and probably the New Testament at least twice as much.
