Hello, just joined. My name's Deidre, and was brought up in a Christian (Catholic) home. I left the faith about 4 years ago, and about two years after that, identified as an atheist/agnostic. Up until a few weeks ago, when I had an experience of faith with the Holy Spirit, and it led me back to Christianity. I'm so grateful to have been touched by God and to feel the Light of Jesus in my life again. I don't believe I felt this way in the years past, when I practiced my faith. Goes to show, you can follow religion for a while, but not be following Jesus.

I never knew what it meant to be born again, until it happened. He is real, and I'm so over joyed by it all. Happy to be here, and look forward to getting to know you all. :)

I'm new here too. My name's Cathy. After 10 months struggles in life and even would suicide when losing all hope of life, God saved me and I felt God be really existing in Dec 2007. After that, I started my christian life. My pleasure to find you here and very please to share my experiences about God deeds during these years with you. :wave2
 
heart hymn, Hi and welcome also dear Sister Cathy. This is wonderful seeing God bring His own such as you to our ranks in Christian fellowship so that we be of comfort and edification to one another. I believe that many times it is the very struggles allowed in our lives are very thing that makes us reach out to our Father. :)

So glad you accepted Christ and are here to say your story about depression and thoughts of suicide as I know some people here {like myself} struggle with it everyday. So once again WELCOME!! :hug
