hi, everybody

I'm a YEC. And I'm glad to have found this forum.

I can only encourage other Christians to be strong in their faith. Stay strong (despite any and all worldly assaults on your belief), and you'll soon see the face of God... What else could you possibly want, tell me?

I want to contribute in the Christianity & Science part of this forum (especially the thread "Big Bang = Big Fail"), but apparently I can't post there. Nor anywhere else, other than here. I am also interested in making my own thread about big bang.

I read ToS and FAQ etc., but couldn't find an explanation. Is there a rule prohibiting newbies to post for some time (how long?), or in certain forum areas?

Thank you.

Thank you so much, Eugene, for your response.

My point of focus here will be cosmology. I want to reply in an old thread, or to make my own big bang thread. After I’m done with big bang, I will make, if allowed, a thread dedicated to the Biblical cosmology (which is YEC, by the way).

My questions would be:
– after how long I’ll be allowed to make a new thread?
– am I allowed to post several (letter) pages at once? Otherwise I won’t know where I’m left with my replies (I can’t visit the forum each day). I understood that my post won’t appear immediately, but even so, am I allowed a long post at once (or several long posts)?

Thank you.

Hi again alex_ro at the following link I have posted a two part study you can see as an example; be sure you go to posts one and two, and it can be longer if you want it to be. Directions are below if you need them.

SALVATION WITH SECURITY
by Eugene
Part 2

SECURITY OF THE BELIEVER

On a Word Document highlight the entire post, go to tools, select word count, and a screen will appear revealing how many characters (with spaces) are used: Our limit is 15,000 per post, and if your post is longer than that, you can continue on a next reply with another 15,000 characters. On the thread at the link above I only used the initial thread with one additional reply. Check the first and second posts to see what I'm describing. Other threads I started on that forum had as many as fifteen replies to include the study I presented. Then other members could reply as you'll see at the link.

Now the way I do it is to get it set up in the format I want; i.e., certain parts center spaced, etc. How can you check that? I start a thread, I post my text, and then I go to (Go advanced) in the lower right corner of the post. That will present your post in the manner it will look when it's posted. At that time I make corrections such as adding BB codes to make certain type bold, some centered, etc.

When I'm satisfied with the first post I back out and do not post until the second or subsequent replies are also ready for posting. By this time I have all posts saved on a word document, and then simply copy and paste the thread on the proper forum broken into less than 15,000 characters.

Personal messages are limited to 10,000 characters per post.

Eugene, thank you so much for your time and detailed explanations. Yes, pretty much I do the same. Just wanted to make sure I can do that, however. So thanks for stating it clearly.

Farouk, thank you kindly for your welcome. However, I'm a bit lost in regard to what exactly your avatar image could represent... -:)
