What is there to prepare for?
Great answer. I don't celebrate Easter much. We should celebrate our risen Lord every single day!exactly, as the day of Passover has come and gone as we celebrated that of the risen Christ, which we should celebrate within ourselves everyday.
You might be missing a lot - of course you are.Totally agree. That is similar why i do not go to church. Why would i need to go church 1 special day a week, when i ackowledge the Lord everyday of the week, and study the word near everyday.
LOL Communion , tithing, offering, people, fellowship, testimonies, etc etcI play my guitar, so that is my band. I have the word to read and learn from directly. I socialize with fellow brothers and sister, like here for example.
What am i missing?

Nobody seems to know what the roasted egg in the shell is about though.

Apart from the spiritual stuff involved....how are you guys preparing for Easter? Just like Christmas? Great activities? Time for merriment and kitchen stuff?
I don't believe when I celebrated Easter this weekend by worshipping at church and engaging in fellowship with Brothers and Sisters I was observing a pagan holiday. Celebrating our Lord is not pagan. As far as the Easter service, they now call it "Resurrection Day Service". I suppose that makes it non-pagan in the pastor's mind. It doesn't in my mind, it is still a pagan observance of the sun god. Unfortunately my Wife still goes each Sunday. I remain home, in my office, praising my Lord and Savior, studying His Word, and meditating on Jesus' resurrection and how that effects me.
