How many of us understand Grace?

Scripture please.
Our teacher is not scripture but Christ! Heb 1:1-2

But here ya go

1 John 1:9
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Jn 20:21 Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.

22 And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:

23 Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.

That has nothing to do with committing "the sin unto death" after baptism. Oh well, I guess there are all kinds on these forums. There certainly are a lot of different beliefs here--that's for sure.

Are we to believe that God’s holy commandments are no longer to be kept in this world of modern Christianity? One of the most often quoted verses to try and do away with God’s Royal law comes from the writing of the Apostle

Now people will take this one verse and run with it, ignoring the writings of the others apostles and the prophets and the statements of even Jesus himself. Grace is nothing more than a free gift. And that free gift is our access back to the tree of life (Jesus) which Adam caused us to lose by disobeying God. Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: (Romans 5: 12) But to maintain your grace you must keep the law. (1John 3:4) Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. Now we have just read the biblical definition of sin, the transgression (breaking) of the law (commandments.) It doesn’t matter what you or I think sin is, it’s what God says sin is that counts.

Sisters and brothers when you read about the law having a shadow of good things to come, and the law that was our school master to bring us unto Christ, it was not referring to God’s holy commandments but the animal sacrifice law.

Bro.Tan---
"Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.
"For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law". (Rom. 13: 8-10)

Jesus said that all of the commandments are summed up in loving God above all things, and to love your neighbor as yourself. We are saved by Grace and thereby born-again and filled with the Spirit. The Spirit teaches us to love God and to love one another. Jesus fulfilled the Law. We are IN Christ if we have been born-again. We no longer "keep" commandments meant to condemn sin in the flesh. The Law was given to show man how sinful he is. If any of us could be made righteous by keeping the Law Jesus would not have had to die on a cross.

"I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!" (Gal.2:21)

I do wonder where this POV comes from and what its purpose is.
