Focus on the Family addresses the use of biblical principles in parenting and marriage to strengthen the family.

Einstein believed in a creator God. He saw through a glass darkly himself. The best we can do is not good enough. We are not lukewarm though. We strive for the high calling,

Einstein believed that an outside Agent of superior intelligence created this universe from nothing.
The problem is an outside agent of alleged superior intelligence thinks he can measure what was created from nothing.

Did Einstein believe in a creator God as you claimed?
I don't think you've been listening. Einstein believed that this universe had a beginning, which we all agree it did. He didn't know how,

“I want to know how God created this world. I want to know his thoughts.”
E. Salaman, A Talk with Einstein The Listener 54 (1955):370-371; Jammer, p.123.

Einstein also believed in this law of physics,

Energy cannot be created or destroyed, but it can be transformed from one form to another. In an isolated system the sum of all forms of energy is constant.

This is just another way of saying,

Nothing can be added to it and nothing can be taken from it. Ecc.3:14

So Einstein believed in a being superior to man. God creating all we see was common knowledge at one time,

although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things. Rom.1:21-23

I have a question for you. If someone abused your child the way Jesus was abused, what would your reaction be?

Right. I confused you with journeyman. Sorry about that.
Quite frankly if someone abused any member of my family the way Gods' Son was tortured, I'd be filled with rage.

But like sciences unsolvable puzzle over creation, Gods' says

My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways, says the LORD. Isa.55:8

Theologians believe Jesus was looked at by our Father as if he was a sinner. They don't understand what the apostles meant about Jesus abolishing the law.

You haven't offered one opinion on anything I've answered to every question you've asked.

You noticed a lack of response. I get some responses, but little details. If I was asked my own questions 50 years ago I could not have answered them.

Of course we are not really that friendly. Are we the doctrine police? LOL

Thanks for the reference. This is how to do referencing in a scholarly manner:
  1. Display and indent the quoted text.
  2. Selectively bold the relevant keywords that are important to the point that you are making. No need to bold the entire sentence. Have a laser-sharp focus.
  3. Be concise and precise to the point. No need to quote the whole chapter.
This is what I do for others who read my posts. It is a standard high-school scholarship. If you practice this, I guarantee you: it will improve your analytical thinking. In any case, no one is required to do it :)

Neither could I. 😊

I never thought of it like that, but police have been known to investigate things.
Doctrine detectives....I like that!

One observation I've made is the many places in scripture where God promises to reveal himself to anyone who obeys him.
The knowledge of God is never comprehended by only reading about him.

Can you connect the above question to the issue of this OP which is "How old is the earth?"?
Sure.

Mankind looked at creeation and misunderstood how old it is.

Mankind also looked at our Savior and misunderstood how old he is.

So Tony, I'm wondering how you would feel (as a father) if people beat your child mercilessly until his body was a bloody mass....and then laughed about it.

If you're unable to answer a very simple question that's ok.

Regretfully we are not precise. If it comes out precise it is the Holy Spirit speaking.

I thought my question was precise. This was my original question,

"If someone abused your child the way Jesus was abused, what would your reaction be?"

eddif,
Can you give me an answer to my question or does it need to be more precise?

Personally, my reaction would be to kill the people torturing my child.

What we think (carnal man) is really of no consequence.
What God wants us to think is the important goal.

I guess if we do get an answer from someone we can know their condition. So I guess I am guilty also.

I have to fight what I think way too much.
