What does the bible say about this? Also is it a sin for a Christian to vote for a candidate that supports same sex marriage and abortion?

How Should A Christian Vote?
What does the bible say about this?
Does your vote really make a difference? Ever voted against God’s choice? According to Rom 9:17, God even put Pharaoh into power; Think Israel okayed that one?

Rom 13:1 . . There is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.

Dan 4:17 . . The most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men.

My words are nothing. I need scripture.

Whats the point in preaching the Gospel and/or sharing the truth of the worlds wickedness if God is in control, not saying im not guilty.

seriously whats the point. People dont want to hear and also you cant fight Gods will.

I been on a national forum for years trying to wake people up and it goes in one ear and out the other and other. I dont expect people to accept everything I say but everything I do say is pointless.

I quit.

try being a preacher in these days we live

I'm not called to be a pastor, teacher, preacher. I'm just happy Christ accepted me when I called on him. That's all. I'm nothing more.

I tell you if I mention Jesus people are just like yea shut up I heard that rubbish a million times type of thing and just want to argue.

The world thinks are all haters now. Times have changed. Its all about accepting everyone for who they are. Thats the world we now live in our nations. Its the last hour. We living in the last hour. How long that hour is I have no idea.
your right but now is the time to work harder internet forums are good problem is a person can be what they want on a computer. but the message still has to go out. the Church has to get the message out racism is out of hand Jesus taught.because iniquity shall abound the Love of many shall WAX COLD. we dont have a big choice in the national election but a vote for hellary is a vote for global government . local and state issues are at hand. i am listening to the MO governors debate all 4 have good points. every thing i hear is minority afraican american ....>division. until our nation say though your skin color is different than mine but your still a american .we are the united states of america . but know is not the time to give up God is bringing judgment upon our nation Ezekiel looked for a man to stand in the gap Isaiah said here am i send me. the 3 hebrew children refused to bow down Daniel went to his room and opened his window toward his homeland and prayed

What does the bible say about this?

Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil. Do you want to be unafraid of the authority? Do what is good, and you will have praise from the same. For he is God’s minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God’s minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil. Therefore you must be subject, not only because of wrath but also for conscience’ sake. For because of this you also pay taxes, for they are God’s ministers attending continually to this very thing. Render therefore to all their due: taxes to whom taxes are due, customs to whom customs, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor.
Romans 13:1-7 NKJV

Based on the above it would seem that the authorities or government of the US is appointed by God. Our government is one in which the people are to be involved and in this sense I believe it is my Christian duty to be involved and cast my vote.

Also is it a sin for a Christian to vote for a candidate that supports same sex marriage and abortion?
Would it be a sin for a Christian to vote for a candidate that commits adultery or any sexuality outside of marriage including lustful looking?
Would it be a sin for a Christian to vote for a candidate that lies or deceives or stretches the truth?
Would it be a sin for a Christian to vote for a candidate that steals or cheats?

Would it be a sin for a Christian to vote for a candidate that covets or gets jealous?
Would it be a sin for a Christian to vote for a candidate that acts out in anger or commits murder as defined by Jesus?
Would it be a sin for a Christian to vote for a candidate that bears false witness or stretches the truth?
Would it be a sin for a Christian to vote for a candidate that uses the Lord's name in vane?
Would it be a sin for a Christian to vote for a candidate that has other gods or idols such as money, fame, notoriety, or other forms of wealth before God?

Name one perfect righteous person on earth? There is no such individual and we will not find that perfect candidate so in my opinion we have been entrusted by God to do our part as Christians to vote for the candidate that most closely matches the values we aspire to.

My personal opinion is yes ... I am not the judge He is..

Isaiah 3:12 NIV

12 Youths oppress my people, women rule over them. My people, your guides lead you astray; they turn you from the path.

I think the GOP uses and abuses the Christian vote. Unless you're in the 1%, it's probably a good idea to vote Democrat.

But you are not preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom and the message of Jesus, you are still preaching the gospel of John the Baptist.

Probably because I'm not called to be a teacher so I'm better not to try preach the Gospel as I will be in error and false doctrine. It takes knowledge and understanding of scripture in detail to be a preacher and I sure ain't that much of a biblical scholar.
