why many believe the battle in Ezekiel 38/39 is a different battle as mentioned in revelations 20.7
As a general overview of those chapters,Ezekiel 36 through 40, they follow a chronology.
36-37, Israel reformed out of the nations, for the sake of the Lord's name, but in a state of disbeleif
38-39, Gog and Magog battle, the turning of Israel back to God (v39:25+)
40, The rebuilt Temple
36 and 37 has been mostly fulfilled, 38 and 39 is next.
Since the AC sets himself up in the Temple half way through the Trib, then 40 is fulfilled prior to that time, placing 38 and 39 and some point prior to the middle of the Trib, but not necessarily in the time of the Trib itself. ?
