why many believe the battle in Ezekiel 38/39 is a different battle as mentioned in revelations 20.7


As a general overview of those chapters,Ezekiel 36 through 40, they follow a chronology.

36-37, Israel reformed out of the nations, for the sake of the Lord's name, but in a state of disbeleif
38-39, Gog and Magog battle, the turning of Israel back to God (v39:25+)
40, The rebuilt Temple

36 and 37 has been mostly fulfilled, 38 and 39 is next.
Since the AC sets himself up in the Temple half way through the Trib, then 40 is fulfilled prior to that time, placing 38 and 39 and some point prior to the middle of the Trib, but not necessarily in the time of the Trib itself. ?

As stated before.The people who dwell in the land of Israel today do not dwell there without walls,nor are they at rest or safe.Anyone with common sense knows this to be true.

The disciples asked when shall these things be.
Mt 24;3
And as he sat unto the mount of Olives,the disciples came unto him privately,saying,Tell us when shall these things be?and what shall be the sign of thy coming,and of the end of the world?

They wanted Jesus to teach them of the end of the world.
People who think these things happened in 70 ad are called preterist .

I dont believe the end of the world came in 70 ad myself.
Anyway.The people who Jesus shall gather from the nations into the kingdom are those who dwell safely and are at rest without the need of walls.They are those who burn the weapons because they have no need of them.And why should they?If God be for them ,who can stand against them?

Where does it say these ten horns hurt the whore head?
Where does it say that she comes back to life after they burn her wirth fire?

If we take the verse out of context ,we could say Jesus was talking about 70 ad.But if we keep it in context we find the conversation is about the end of the world.

Jesus went on to tell them signs of the end of the world and of his coming.
