How to find the ten kings who destroy Jerusalem

Rev 17;16
And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.

Where does it say these ten horns hurt the whore head?
Where does it say that she comes back to life after they burn her wirth fire?

Maybe we're not talking 'bout the same beast?

13:3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his
deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the
beast.

Rev 17;16

We are not talking about the beast. We are talking about the whore that is destroyed by the ten horns who hate the whore.Do you not know who hates Babylon?Ask the ruler of the Medes. He will tell you who he hates.
But wait untill he gets the nukes he has so much desired and then watch as the king of Babylon(the beast) panics because he will know he has only a short time.

I dont get what your saying or asking.

Maybe if you just state the name of your eschatelogical view or recommend a website then I can view the whole picture and get back to you?

I don't pretend to know exactly whats gonna happen in revelation. It's an ongoing study.

No offence but your not the best teacher.

These are just things Ive learned.

You see .Just because a prophet wrote something 2500 years ago doesnt mean he wasnt writing about the same event as a prophet who wrote about it 2000 years ago.

The prophet Jerimiah wrote of Babylon the great as well as John.
But the prophet Jerimiah gave the best clue as to who would destroy Babylon when he said it would be the Medes. You see the Medes never destroyed ancient Babylon.Jerimiah was writing about the same Babylon as John was writing of in revelation. So if you ever wanted to know who would destroy Jerusalem(Babylon the great),The bible says it will be the Medes(Iran).

As for the beast. It is written that Lucifer is king of Babylon.
You didnt think God was calling his servant Nebuchadnezar Lucifer in the scriptures did you?lol
The prophets were talking about the Israeli goverment .The same goverment that rules over the great city of Babylon.

So theres no website?

Your the first peson in history to make these connections?

So theres no website?

No .Im not the first Im sure.
I learn things from the scriptures just as I learned Jerusalem is Babylon the great.I compare alot of scripture.
Personally I rather be taught by the scriptures themselves than have another human or website teach me.
I trust the holy spirit to be my instructor.I dont attend any church so that my studdies are not swayed.I believe the annointing I have recieved teaches me all things and is no lie.

I admit Im very hard to understand at times.

Its really not hard to make connections.Look over the next two verses and see if you can make a connection.

Jerumiah 51;6
Flee out of the midst of Babylon, and deliver every man his soul;be not cut off in her iniquity;for this is the time of the Lord's vengeance;he will render unto her a recompence.

Rev 18;4
And I heard another voice from heaven saying,Come out of her my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and recieve not of her plagues.

And the walls come tumbling down.

No, they are not, and that's a point of dispute I have with people over the timing of this battle.

God specifically added the wording of "unwalled" in there for a reason. I've been told time and time again that its a sign of living in days where villages no longer need walls (such as now), but I disagree. There are lots of places in scripture that describes event to take place at or near the very end of the age and the tern "unwalled" is used in none of them, which makes this particular requirement of this battle unique.

It's telling that Israel is indeed currently a "walled" land, with a 400+ mile wall running through it, making it rather unique in the world today, and also making the requirement of an "unwalled" land even more relevant.

The term "unwalled" is not just some extra throw-away fact in the scriptures, it has a real purpose, and unwalled means just that, unwalled.

The Bill Salus book, Isralestine, is really onto something, I believe, when it explores the other unfulfilled prophecies which foretell the destruction of Damascus, parts of Syria, Lebanon, lower half of Jordan, the Palestinian people, etc.

When that occurs, Israel will have no immediate enemies and will no longer have use of that wall. Not to mention they will then have full control of the Dead Sea and its recently-discovered vast gold reserves underneath, combined with its natural gas and vast oil reserves they currently have as well as those they will capture in the Psalms 83 and Isaiah 17 conflicts. Israel will be come extremely wealthy.

In fact, wealth is the hook that causes the Ezekiel 38-39 war, (38:12) they come to "to seize spoil and carry off plunder". A motivation far different then what we see today, which is to rid the earth of the state of Israel, which is the exact motivation of the Psalms 83 conflict, (v4) "let us wipe them out as a nation; let the name of Israel be remembered no more!"

For these reasons, and some more, I do not believe the Gog and Magog battle is imminent, and cannot be until other requirements are met, and it also does not meet the requirements of the battle at the end of the trib either, partly of the reasons I've mentioned before.

I could be wrong of course.

I didnt know there was a name of my veiw.LOL

As I pointed out already in this thread ,the Medes never destroyed ancient Babylon. Therefore this alone proves that the Lord is speaking of another Babylon.

Jerimiah 51;11
Make bright the arrows; gather the shields: the LORD hath raised up the spirit of the kings of the Medes: for his device [is] against Babylon, to destroy it; because it [is] the vengeance of the LORD, the vengeance of his temple.

But what did happen to ancient Babylon was altogeth different than what Jerimial said would happen to Babylon.
With the decline of the Roman Empire the city of Babylon was not that important to world trade and commerce. Political, religious, and economic centers moved eastward and westward. Many of the beautiful bricks were carried off to be used in construction projects in Baghdad, Damascus, and cities of the decathlon. However, this was such a huge metropolis that the majority of the buildings and walls remained to be covered up with the sands of the Euphrates River and the blowing sands of the Middle East. The decline of Babylon was a slow process that occurred over a thousand years. There was no sudden destruction of ancient Babylon.

Heres is a verse for you to compare. It should be fresh on your mind.Youve been trying to drive it in smaller's head for days.
Jerimiah51;49
As Babylon hath caused the slain of Israel to fall,so at Babylon shall fall the slain of all the earth.

The slain of all the earth.Sound familiar?
I tryed to show Johnnny who Israel is but he didnt get it.
Israel in the verse above is speaking of those who have overcome.=prophets and saints.
Remember,Jacob was given a new name after he had overcome.

The word 'destroy' in that verse can mean any number of things. Not necessarily sudden and complete destruction.

Original Word: שָׁחַת
Transliteration: shachath
Phonetic Spelling: (shaw-khath')
Short Definition: batter

Word Origin
a prim. root
Definition
perhaps to go to ruin

NASB Word Usage

act corruptly (4), act...corruptly (1), acted corruptly (3), acted...corruptly (1), acting corruptly (1), blemished animal (1), corrupt (8), corrupted (4), depravity (1), destroy (69), destroyed (14), destroyer (4), destroyers (1), destroying (7), destroys (5), destruction (2), devastate (1), felled (2), go to ruin (1), harm (2), jeopardize (1), laid waste (1), polluted (1), raiders (2), ravage (1), ravaged (1), ruin (1), ruined (4), set (1), spoiled (1), stifled (1), waste (1), wasted (1), wreaking destruction (1).

So the use of the word in that verse could mean that the spirit of the Medes was used to 'corrupt' or 'ruin' or 'stifle' or 'pollute' Babylon. Lolz.....or even just 'harm'. I mean...thats real tepid.

That would line up with what happened to ancient Babylon. No problems there.

Doesn't have to mean total destruction.

Well. The Medes didnt cause it to go to ruin and history proves. It was a lively city even when Alexander the great was living there .If you remember your history ,Alexander loved Babylon and died there.

Jerimiah 51;54
A sound of a cry cometh from Babylon and great destruction from the land of the Chaldeans;

Well there was no destruction on ancient Babylon. There was the sound of laughter filling the air when the Medes came because they freed all the captives. There was no destruction at all.

Jerimiah 51;58
Thus saith the Lord of hosts; The broad walls of Babylon shall be untterly broken, and her high gates shall be burned with fire;and the people shall labor in vain, and the folk in the fire, and they shall be weary.

Unlike ancient Babylon which was not burned with fire.Jerusalem shall be burned with fire and her walls shall come down. The Medes shall burn her to the ground.

Rev 17;16
And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.

Unlike ancient Babylon.Jerusalem is going to burn.

Ok that word 'destroy' doesnt have to mean ruined or destroyed as we know it. It can mean 'corrupted' or 'stifled' or 'spoiled' or 'polluted'.

It's a very broad word. It can easily apply to what the Medes did to ancient Babylon.

The word 'destruction' in Jer 51:54 just means 'affliction' or 'breach'.

Was ancient Babylon 'breached' by the Medes? Yes it was.

They walked in .lol

Jerimiah 51;8
Babylon is suddenly fallen and destroyed;howl for her;take balm for her pain,if so be shae may be healed.

Suddenly fallen?
Explain that away there Doc.roflol

Maybe you can rewrite the book of Jerimiah so it will at least sound like what happened to ancient Babylon,

Actually that word 'walls' is better translated singular....as in a single wall. So is it possible that a single wall was broken in ancient Babylon when the Medes went in?

As for a gate burning. Seriously dude.....you don't know exactly what happend when the Medes attacked Babylon. There might have been a gate burning incident and maybe even some people burning. It's entirely possible. It was a loooooooong time ago and you can't expect an accurate report of what actually happened from history books.

You havn't shown me anything that rules out Jeremiah talking about ancient Babylon. Sorry.

I'm not saying your wrong. I'm just sayin' I'm not buying it as it stands at this point.

Yes no problem.

That word 'destroyed' is very broad and translates to 'break down' and can mean such timid terms as 'hurt' or 'injured' 'quench' or even 'brokenhearted'! which is not even physically broken.

So was ancient Babylon suddenly injured? Or suddenly quenched? Yes it was.

The point of the verse is that Babylon FELL to the Medes quickly.

Still not buying it.

you mention you tolled me who Israel are but i did not get it, yes there are those who have entered the new covenant, us, by faith and grace, some would say these are the spiritual Israel, not a jew outwardly not circumcized,
but inwardly. by the spirit. fine.

now all these people who were gathered to Israel it mentions people would be sent to hunt for them, fish for them, to bring them back to their own land, known in the past as Gods chosen people, where are they in Gods plan,
yes like the church they will be judged and refined, is there not a time where many in Israel, will come to believe, and return to God, as many already have like us put their hope and faith in Jesus.

so are you saying God had no part in bringing this people back as a nation, that you feel they are now a God less and forsaking people, the only thing awaiting them, is vengence?

all that is also written about the 144.000 12 tribes of Israel. so none of is relevent and applies to the people living in Israel, and to those also still living in countries all around the world, US ect who consider them selves Jews, and part of the jewish nation, there time has, come and gone, now forsaking?
none of the prophecys concerning Israel, do not apply to this people, is this what you are saying?
or have i misunderstand your presetation, or only certain prophecies you feel apply to this people, but the majority apply only to the spiritual ISRAEL.

As things stand at present if Iran went head to head with Israel, many feel there would only be one out come. Johnny

The bible has the outcome written in it.
And its not just the Medes who will destroy Jerusalem. There are ten countries in all including the three that the little horn defeated in 1967.They were Egypt ,Syria and Jordan. There are four of the ten by name.

This is really going to make the king of the north mad.
Daniel 11; 44
But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him;therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and untterly to make away many.

Many people dont realize this king of the north is friends with the jews who farsake the holy covenant. When those ten kings mentioned before destroy Jerusalem ,this king will nuke them all.
He even moved his embassy to Jerusalem in Daniel 11;45 only to have it destroyed by those ten horns.
