How To Lose Your Salvation...

This is merely your opinion and you are speaking for everyone, which is wrong and presumptuous. I would guess that I have read and studied and interpreted the bible more than most on this site, especially the members who choose to "believe in Christ" instead of the bible.
When you asked "Doesn't that concern you?" were you not asking for Debs opinion?

John 5:39-40 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life:and they are they which testify of me. And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.

Well I would say to you that you should be giving your interpretation of the scriptures rather than making personal remarks about the author of the OP.
What is your interpretation of the scriptures referred to in the OP?

It would be helpful if you would use the reply button located on the lower left of each post. Then others will know which post you are referring to.

Since I asked the OP why he could interpret the scripture more clearly than all of us I thought it was obvious my interpretation was implied.

What is your interpretation of the scripture being referred to in the OP? You are being asked a simple question about the Scripture not the author of the OP.
I'd love to make a personal statement about atheist in general right now but I have to abide by the rules just as you do.

Edited . Please do not tell other members how to respond... reba

Well i do my own study and still a newbie and even i figured out it is the rejection of Christ. In fact i did not even figure it out, it was more just reading scripture in common sense, like most scripture, not over analizing to the point of confusion, like many do.
:thumbsup

It seems to me that most people still don't understand what the OP is really saying.
I think it should be reread and studied and prayed about.
It's very deep.

Quote from the OP -
"The short version of the unpardonable sin is simply to die a Christ Rejector which is another way of saying that to die rejecting pardon is to die with the one sin that cant be pardoned, which is to die having rejected God's mercy."

I agree this is what the unpardonable sin is. Rejection of Christ.

I don't want to address his conclusion.

I agree, too, except I'd change one thing. To live a Christ rejector in the clear face of plain, accountable truth of who the Christ is is unpardonable.

The point being, whether dead or alive, there comes a point where you can't reject the testimony of the Holy Spirit about the Christ when God knows you are fully responsible for that knowledge and somehow have another chance to accept it.

I submit to you that the irreversible death people eventually die for rejecting the Christ happens while they are still very much alive. The only thing left for them is to await the Judgment when sentence will be carried out.

Well, you may know that, I don't.

I don't know anyone who has repented of their sin and been rejected by God.
Maybe you do.

No, no, no, you don't understand.

You die the death of the unpardonable sin while still very much alive. IOW, you don't have to die to be guilty of the unpardonable sin.
