From 2 Timothy 3:1-9 "But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people. For among them are those who creep into households and capture weak women, burdened with sins and led astray by various passions, learning and never able to arrive at a knowledge of the truth. Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so these men also oppose the truth, men corrupted in mind and disqualified regarding the faith. But they will not get very far, for their folly will be plain to all, as was that of those two men."

Paul plainly states - all having the appearance of godliness but denying its power are corrupted in mind and disqualified regarding the faith. And their folly will be plain to all. So, for anyone denying Jesus Christ is God, the paragraph above applies.

Also, from Revelation 19:6 "Then I heard what seemed to be the voice of a great multitude, like the roar of many waters and like the sound of mighty peals of thunder, crying out,

“Hallelujah!
For the Lord our God
the Almighty reigns."

Clearly, Lord and God are the same thing in the New Testament as well. As I said in a previous post, from Malachi 3:6 "For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore, ye sons of Jacob are not consumed."

Further, from Revelation 19:11-16 "Then I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse! The one sitting on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he judges and makes war. His eyes are like a flame of fire, and on his head are many diadems, and he has a name written that no one knows but himself. He is clothed in a robe dipped in blood, and the name by which he is called is The Word of God. And the armies of heaven, arrayed in fine linen, white and pure, were following him on white horses. From his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations, and he will rule them with a rod of iron. He will tread the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God the Almighty. On his robe and on his thigh, he has a name written, King of kings and Lord of lords."
God does not change, but He changes His stuff a lot. Peter’s teaching to the Jews on the Day of Pentecost says “God has made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom you crucified.” (Acts 2:36). God must have greater authority than Jesus in order to make him the "Lord." Christ would have already been the“Lord” if he was God—in which case God would not need to “make” him the "Lord." It's also taught that Jesus must be God because he's called the “Lord.” The Greek word for Lord is kurios and is a masculine title of respect and nobility, which is why we see many others besides God and Jesus being called the “Lord."

No one is attacking you personally. On my side, countless times I have offered arguments based on scripture that Christ is God and yet all you do is deflect and provide half baked counter-arguments or just ignore what I have said.

There is no need for you to play the victim card here. All that has been quoted to you from my side has been taken from scripture which is breathed out of God.
I'm not playing any victim cards. I'm telling the truth. One on here just yesterday referred to me as an ambassador of Satan. (Post 447)
Oh wait... it was you who referred to me as an ambassador of Satan.

From Tehillim (Psalms) 7, The Orthodox Jewish Bible we have in the first few verses.

Hashem Elohai, in Thee do I seek refuge; hoshieini (save me) from all them that persecute me, and deliver me;

The Hebrew bible has many names for God like Hashem, Elohim, Adonai etc and Lord and God are used interchangeably in the translations to English.

Again from Tehillim 110, Orthodox Jewish Bible:

(Of Dovid. Mizmor). Hashem said unto Adoni [i.e., Moshiach Adoneinu; Malachi 3:1], Sit thou at My right hand, until I make thine enemies a footstool for thy feet.

So Hashem is Lord and Adoni (my Lord) is personal for Adonai (Lord). Adoni refers to Christ who then is Lord also.

As for the Lord of Old Testament being different to the Lord of the New Testament please refer to Malachi 3:6 "For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed."

I don't think you are getting the logic of my arguments P7. If you truly are a son of Jacob (that is saved) you would humble yourself and accept correction. Christ is Lord and God, I have proven that.

I perceive though your heart is hardened and stubborn and will reject my proof. So be it.
God does not change, but He changes His stuff a lot. One of the things He changed was He gave up being Lord when He made His son both Lord and Christ.

It's not possible for someone to walk close to the spirit of Jesus Christ and be a bad Christian. It's just not possible. I walk in the spirit. How that makes me a bad Christian is outside of my understanding. But this is where we always end up when we can't converse about the subject matter. We then attack the man personally. This they did also to Jesus when they said well, he came from the wrong family, or he has a devil. etc. etcetc
And?
That doesn't answer MY questions?

We are to test the Spirit by the Spirit.

And I have not called you a bad anything.
But an avoider of answering questions.

Which you still are avoiding by talking about something else.

God judges the heart, there are people who may not even have the Bible that are close to God. Yet only God knows the truth. Man on the other hand look at the outter appearance as what you speak and do.

As when you claimed to be on another level than everyone else, and claimed that you were an expert, and yet to humble yourself, or read the comments, questions, and writings of us so called lower level people. WHEN YOU WRITE YOU ARE AN AMBASSADOR FOR CHRIST BUT DON'T BELIEVE THAT MEANS TO REPRESENT HIM IN WHAT HE DID, WHICH IS SERVICE HIS PEOPLE.

So if You have all the knowledge in the world, see ghost, speak in many tongues OF THE ANGELS AND MAN, sold all your goods and do not exhibit Love then? You know the rest of the scripture.

Someone asked you what type of expert are you?

If you dont answer then we propose are own....

The wise know how to use knowledge.

Sounds like you are now playing the victim and not the victimizer.
......

How can you call yourself an Ambassador if you do not represent God's purposes to people.

Still waiting for an answer

Jesus Himself who served God by serving people even to the point of death. There is a reason that Paul disciplined His body so that He would not be a castaway.

Meaning that what we preach to others we do ourselves. An Ambassador represents his official by what He says and does. And you say you represent Christ yet don't serve the people. But Christ served others He humbled Himself even to the point of death and now lives as our high priest to interceed on our behalf- therefore still servicing as Lord and King.

A king serves his people, also protects them, and sees to their happiness if possible.

Okay bro..you win, you have your own meanings that you must make fit in your boxes. ✌️

Like I said before there were experts on the theory that the world was flat. And some people still believe it is...

I'll leave you to your own ideals.

Scared to know your version of the Gospel

I don't avoid or dodge questions. I don't answer on this form mostly because people post on 5 different pages 18 different verses and I often do not know what the question is. Here is an example with you. You speak about testing the spirits. I don't know what that means to you.

And?
That doesn't answer MY questions?

What is your question? With all the accusing and blaming me I often don't even care to respond. I think just between 2 of you I have been accused to be not having enough love, being full of pride, not as good as you, serving the devil, wrong about what I believe, playing games, a victim, show my ignorance and those are just the ones off the top of my head.
We are to test the Spirit by the Spirit.
I don't know what that means to you. So how do I answer? Do I guess what you are thinking it means?
And I have not called you a bad anything.
You need to only read this post to see how you accuse me.
But an avoider of answering questions.
1.) attack on my charter.
Which you still are avoiding by talking about something else.
2.) Continue to attack my charter.
God judges the heart, there are people who may not even have the Bible that are close to God. Yet only God knows the truth. Man on the other hand look at the outter appearance as what you speak and do.
3.) Judging me to be not as good of a Christian as you.
4.) Not humble and false about my life just because I know more Bible than most people. And why should I not know more Bible? Have most gone to Bible college? Taken Christian classes all over the country for 7 years? Wrote a book about Jesus Christ? Well, have most done that?
So if You have all the knowledge in the world, see ghost, speak in many tongues OF THE ANGELS AND MAN, sold all your goods and do not exhibit Love then? You know the rest of the scripture.
5.) Again accusing me of not walking in love.
Someone asked you what type of expert are you?
I'm an expert in the understanding of the resurrected Christ Jesus and I said so on this site 3, 4, or maybe even 5 times.
The wise know how to use knowledge.
6.) Accusing me or suggesting I'm not wise.
Sounds like you are now playing the victim and not the victimizer.
7.) Accusing me of playing games or playing a victim.
How can you call yourself an Ambassador if you do not represent God's purposes to people.
8.) Accusing me of not representing God in the right way or serving Christians the rightly divided Word.

Jesus Himself who served God by serving people even to the point of death. There is a reason that Paul disciplined His body so that He would not be a castaway.

9.) Still accusing me of being not as good of a Christian as you.

10.) Accusing me of not preaching the Bible in the right way or represent Christ in the right way.
A king serves his people, also protects them, and sees to their happiness if possible.

11.) You continue to judge and accuse.
Okay bro..you win, you have your own meanings that you must make fit in your boxes. ✌️

12.) Accusing me of being off the Word and doing my own thing.
Like I said before there were experts on the theory that the world was flat. And some people still believe it is...

13.) Accusing me of not knowing as much of the Bible as I do.
I'll leave you to your own ideals.

14.) Accusing me of having my own ideas and not those of the Bible.
Scared to know your version of the Gospel

No you're not attacking and judging and accusing. It must just be all in my head.

added question

What does that mean> you walk close to God?

Corinth77777

So this is what Im getting over this thread then Im going to leave it. And I can be wrong...but this is my intuition.

It's what happens when you put your trust in a sysyem of doctrines that include Christ, God and more.

And then the System becomes your foundation rather than Christ the solid Rock.

This kind of reminds me of a scripture of people trying to enter the sheep fold by climbing over the fence John 10. But you must come through Jesus. The Gate

The theif comes to Rob and steal...

Scripture say this:

Hence the foundation can never be a system of doctrines one must believe to be true. The foundation is Christ.

It's about trusting Jesus
No you're not attacking and judging and accusing. It must just be all in my head.
