Kansas City, sunny and 55.

I live in the north end near Fillmore and I-25. Well it used to be the north end anyway, lol. Now it's short north I guess.
When I was stationed at Carson in '86, there were 76,000 people in the Springs and Fillmore was the north end. When I moved out there for business in 05', WOW! Was amazed at the growth. Got a good deal on a condo in Palmer Lake and it was beautiful! Woke every morning, came downstairs and there was Mt. Hermon in my picture window.

It's pretty wet here now. A good break from the hot weather, which will surely kick in again during the week. :gah

It's been freezing temperatures (-5 to -10 Celsius) and snowy for a week now. But for next week they predict up to +15 Celsius. That's so crazy.

I haven't been around much the past week. We had a relatively cold period with lows in the -15F to -25F range most of the week. This morning we got up to ice as we had some freezing rain overnight.

this: WOW ! :) Why didn't Bob Dole vacation in Kansas more often?
Kansas City is in Missouri, Farouk. OK, so there is a Kansas City, Kansas, but it is a suburb of the city in Missouri. The KC metro area spills across the state line, and gets referred to generally across the country as "Kansas City" but Kansas City is in Missouri. :D

PS: I live in an eastern suburb anyway.

It was cold last week, but now it's startin' to warm up. Less nippy.
