This is getting a bit ridiculous! We have near blizzard conditions around here today. Picked up nearly 8"-10" of new snow and that's with much of it melting at the same time because it is right around that freezing mark. This is April 18? I don't ever recall having snowstorms one after the other like this ever especially at this late time of the year. Unbelievable! Well, I have to believe it. I can see it with my own eyes and feel it when I work that shovel.

So my area has completely skipped spring and went from arctic winter straight to summer. We've been having sun and 25-ish Celsius the whole week.

Here are a couple shots of the landscape this morning. If we get sun today I suspect we'll see a lot of melting.

This one is facing SW across our horse pasture and my wheat fields. I suspect I will not be putting wheat seed in this year.

LOL. Just having a little fun! Basically it's partly cloudy with a little breeze and reasonably comfortable temperatures. Overall a pretty nice afternoon for this time of year in the great Pacific Northwest! :-D

So someone went up there to look at what heights the clouds are? ;) Haha that would be an awesome job: cloud height measurer. Flying around all day and looking at clouds. :shades I would be the happiest person in the world if I could do that. Dang, pilots must be the happiest people in the world.

T10171017 (for example) is a breakdown of the temperature and dew point in 8 digits separated into two groups of four. the first four digits (1017) describe the temperature. The first digit (1) designates above or below zero Celsius (0=above zero 1=below zero). The next three digits in the group '017' is the temperature in degrees and tenths of a degree Celsius, −1.7 °C (28.9 °F). The last four digits '1017' is the same as the first group but for dew point, −1.7 °C (28.9 °F). Note: ASOS software, as of this update, uses whole degrees in °F to compute the °C values in this group.

The tulips are up in my grandson's garden and some have buds. He is anxiously awaiting them so he can take one to his friend in school. He brought her one last year. So this year she gave him a little note with a tulip on it. Hint, hint.
