How's your weather today, where you live?

I live just outside of North Branch, Mn.

We got about 18 inches of snow and it's still coming.
Yes. You got hit pretty hard in east central MN. My brother-in-law lives in Cloquet where they picked up about two feet.

15F degrees this morning. April showers bring May flowers. What do April blizzards bring?

Our Ontario flurries must be coming from you guys... :)

I just hope things turn around in time for our annual pilgrimmage to the Lac Seul in Northwest Ontario in June. Three weeks 'till our MN fishing opener and it is beginning to look like we may be canceling our plans unless this pattern changes soon.

WIP:

Well, I hope it goes according to plan for you. I myself love Northern Ontario.

In parts of Northern Ontario the last frosts of the winter can be in June or July, and the first frosts of the next winter can be in August or September...

Cold, wet snow. Not uncommon for the Rockies.

I've seen it snow in July!

Deborah13:

Well, we have been having flurries and the forecast for tomorrow is a minus 3 windchill, not too bad, but not what one expects when we are nearly into May...

Blessings.

The tulips are up in my grandson's garden and some have buds. He is anxiously awaiting them so he can take one to his friend in school. He brought her one last year. So this year she gave him a little note with a tulip on it. Hint, hint.

Blessings to you, too.
Deborah13 :

I love tulips! Ottawa has an annual tulip festival, dating from when Dutch exiles in World War Two came to Canada.

It's that time of the year again, I guess.

Blessings.

This is discouraging though. Just glanced out the window and wish I hadn't. It's snowing like nobody's business. We are expected to get up to 3 inches today. :sad

...Well, today, here in this part of Canada, a neighbor's house had its roof so white with frost this morning that to all intents and purposes it looked as if it had been hit with a snowfall overnight.

And on...and on....and on.... When will it stop? As a part time farmer I expect that within a couple months I'll be complaining that we need moisture. :lol

Offering hope, not envy. For the first time in months we may have a gradual warming trend reaching 80. It has been in the 40s to 50s for so long, with violent winds, that I had given up on getting outdoors. We have still been having hard freezes, too, which is hard on our Washingoton fruit. So now I am sick with a bad virus and hubby sliced open his right hand requiring stitches and can't use it at all. We both are pouting, but are willing to send some beautiful weather eastward for others to enjoy.

Carolyn:

'Generous' of you to let us have your weather! :)

Sorry you're sick. Sorry to hear about your husband's accident. So you're back running errands for him, maybe... Let's hope you guys will be well soon.

Blessings.
