Cute puppy

Sorry about the poor quality, but this is a picture of a picture on my wall that I just took. The original was an older camera that was from yesteryear before digital cameras came out. This is a real picture of a dog I used to have named Bear, and when he would get in trouble, I would give him a time out and make him stand in the corner, lol!

He acted just like a kid when I did this to him. Sometimes he would turn his head and peek to see if anyone was watching, and I'd say "you get your nose back in that corner!" and he would LOL!

Awwww....:sad
I had a dog named Kandy. She had a dog bed. When she would get in trouble I would tell her to go to her bed.And she would do it.

My dog Riggs that I have now, when he gets into mischief, instead of yelling at him like a lot of people do their dogs I just go Pssst, and he settles right down and lays down or goes into his kennel. It works great and is a lot better than yelling at the dog in front of company when he gets so excited that he don't remember to listen. I see quite a few people yell at their dog but it's better if you go quiet on them to let them know you mean business. Kids too. :)

here's a better picture of my English Mastiff, Thor, than I had for my avatar for a long time. This was the best dog I ever owned. I could walk him without a leash, he would take all sorts of abuse from little kids, wouldn't take food from anyone but me, and housebroke himself. He was extremely smart. He died a short while back. :sad he got problems with his kidneys and they shut down. I miss him. He was a fantastic dog.

Our puppy used to walk on water. She was unfortunately killed by a coyote when she was about 7 months old because a friend of ours who was supposed to be watching her didn't. We miss her energy and antics.
I worked with a woman who had two Dachshund. She would go out in the front yard and stay close to them because of the Coyote. Two Coyote came almost right up to this lady and took off her dogs and killed them right in front of her.Sooo sad :sad
