i live to ruin cats nap time when i find them in that position. i take my water road and poke to see if they are alive. an man they jump and give me that evil eye for about a minute. if i see the chest move then i wont bother.

Cats really don't enjoy being woken suddenly. And I know precisely that 'evil eye' you mention!

i call it kitty torture. i had a cat run and hide and would peek at me while i would read the meter. i would look down and see a head around the corner watching me.

I caught a kitten doing that and made a friend out of him. I called him gator. I haven't seen him in a while.
