Don't take it personally. That's who I am, very blunt. You are not the first person to misinterpret me, plus remember, the internet adds 20 to the d-meter.

I have asked Stovebolts to go ahead and close this thread. I need to force myself to just stay in the Science section. Another mod may do his job, if wish. :)

That isn't for everyone, of course. There are some good people on this board, and I appreciate them.

As for my points, someone MAY have addressed them, but to say "it was an object lesson for man" is incongruent with the actual wording of the story. Those I mentioned are as I have stated. Having someone try to rationalize doesn't mean the issue has been resolved.

i am in genesis and have been listening to genesis. i have asked God to save men that i saw drown. why would he wait for me to ask him to save them if he was going to do it anyway. to show me his mercy on them.
