Photographs In the depths of the man cave

I don't wear makeup.I just feel like I don't need it.It is bad for the skin.I do not wear jewelry either. Not because I have an issue with it but because I don't buy it.I love to see it on other women and I do see some really pretty jewelry on women.I live a very simple life.I am not a perfectionist but I like everything in its place.A little dust does not bother me :)
I don't wear makeup either unless it is a very special occasion. It is such a bother to put it on. I live in the desert of New Mexico. The house always needs to be dusted. If dust bothers you here you need to move.

The desert has its beauty doesn't it?

I love the beauty of the desert ... the openness ...the silhouettes of the mountains against the darkening sky... How the snow capped mountains glisten like plies of diamonds is the brilliant sunshine.... The glow of the soft moon light...

The desert can be very beautiful. We have flowers that bloom here after a rain that are just awesome. However, the wind blows a lot and the dust blows also. If you don't like dust you don't want to live in the desert.

Sounds like you must be in the South-West, anyway, Ms Sandy. Here in Canada it's not exactly desert but in places they call them the Badlands, where things don't grow easily and there is a lot of rock and sandstone.

Blessings.

New Mexico, right close to the border with Mexico. I have lived in the desert for over 30 years now. I have learned to be content in everything, but sometimes I would like to go somewhere else. I like rain, and we don't get enough of it here.

Looks SUPER neat and clean to me. What is a man cave? I thought it was a place for entertainment, to relax, practice machoism with buddies, or delve into some personal hobbie of enjoyment. This looks like a WORK PLACE, a place of enslavement!!! I only ask because if you were to want to see my "man cave" the only "personal space" I could show you would be something like this only a LOT more cluttered and by the way it is in the single digits out there and VERY, VERY trying to do things which you can't do with warm, bulky gloves on. The floor has ice in places and periodically I find a dead mouse carcus informing me that the D-Con is still working. Barbarian's "man cave" looks like a very clean and organized work bench to me.

If you like rain then you would like the States of Oregon and Washington. Most people who move to those states hate it because there is so much rain. But it is very green and beautiful.

I have been to Seattle. It is very pretty. Even though we have little rain here, I don't plan to move soon. We live on 50 acres in the country and we have a small horse boarding business on it. You can't beat working at home. It is so quiet and peaceful (except when the wind blows) it is difficult to find a better place. If the Lord wants me to move though, I will do it.

I know what you mean about living in the country and the peace.I love it.I love horses. My daughter loves them even more. :)

horses, are of the devil. j/k. my wife had those as a kid. to have one here, you must have an acre of land just for that horse, or pay for the stalls and use of anothers land. nevermind ridding it. that is still done but not as often on the side of the roads as I used to see.

Whatever you do, never tell my mother that horses are of the devil. She is 90 and still has three that she rides all the time. I think she was riding before she could walk. They are her best friends.

Horses are delicious, especially smoked an turned into sausages. I don't eat them any more though, since they aren't kosher.
