im sure cuba has dolphins and manatees and sharks. the florida manatee is actually the west indies manatee and they migrate from florida to hispanola and also to texas and louisana. the florida native manatee whent extenct before Columbus ever got here.

Isn't Watling Island where Columbus landed, in The Bahamas? I'm sure some of the sea critters swim back and forth ...

the ais and other things made the manatees go extinct. but I cant find the article on that.

Manatees have to drink fresh water, so that limits them a bit on spreading out to remote islands.
