I'm all for health and safety but it has limits. I mean, when a business puts the onion on the bread first because a bit could fall on the ground and someone could slip over, that's just stupidity.

People ,trust me I see it ,can't drive and if om going to force you who can't off the road by what law can I demonstrate your lack of proficiency.I have seen the elderly and the youth show lack of abilities.

I'm in no way implying that in all cases safety testing mandates are perfect but i was trained more by the army how to drive then any civilian friend.its how I got my cdl,and I was trained in truck driving .the forklift and backhoe,skid steer etc came from city fleet

Normally civilians don't buy a car and test drive to it limits,this is a standard requirement for military vehicles.at one time.

I had a military license for these. M998,m996.m1125,1141,1025,1024,923,925,1088,bus license,

The bus license ,if I wanted could be converted to a class b with pax up 44,school bus.as that is what it was. Of the list above ,the 1088,923,925 had air brakes

Maybe the homeless could start by helping themselves. How can you help others if they won't help themselves first. I understand some have PTSD and other mental illness for life and are down and out, so that's a different situation im not talking about them. There are many homeless who can and need to help themelves. Addiction is one. Some homeless who beg make just as much as a average worker.

There is nothing wrong with helping people im saying many are homeless due to there own bad choices and decisions so they need to start to help themselves and not rely on others or beg. I'm harsh but I think I'm fair.

That's not unreasonable as even amongst homeless vets they will beg rather then try to help themselves out.

So both are needed. Help people, then instruct them in the proper way to do things.

That is the point. They are getting products for basic human needs, such as socks, soap, clothes, hygiene products etc. Why won't you help people with basic needs if they need them?

At least you would help them first. There is another noble christian organization in Austin that helps the homeless as well but they require them to listen to a sermon first before they can get help.
