Happy Friday everybody and welcome to another edition of today's news. :) Today was definitely a better day than yesterday for me so hopefully the news report will be too heading into this Memorial Day weekend. Well unfortunately we do have a bit of bad news to start off with a kindergarten student from Jackson township Ohio that was sexually assaulted while she rode home from school on the school bus. :sad Here's more on the story.

However a bit of good news as well as a science teacher heroically tackled a shooter that opened fire at Noblesville West Middle School today.

And a family of a Westlake man that was shot and killed last night by a Cuyahoga county sheriff's deputy has released a statement on that said incident. Here's more.

And also in an extremely joyful and heartwarming news a report, a solider from Alabama surprised his son when he flew into his high school to see him graduate. I'm crying happy tears right now. :') (I always get emotional in stories like this :))

Also, a man that pled no contest to raping a five year old little girl was sentenced on Wednesday but will only receive ninety days of house arrest. Here's more of the details.

Amen. Agreed as my own father is a veteran and I didn't realize that the adoption story took place thirteen years ago. I was officially adopted at one year old but I was a foster child before that. My family is my family and we don't have to look alike at all to be a real family. As Christians we're all a part of the family of God anyway. :cross And yes, thankfully the snake didn't hurt anybody. God bless you too brother. :hug

First of all in today's news, a sixty year old man from Florida was recently arrested after he verbally and physically attacked two Muslim women in the parking lot of a St. Augustine McDonald's. Here's more of the details.

Well it is Memorial Day today and since we don't have a lot of news today I figured that I would post today's report before lunch and before I go outside to enjoy the nice weather. :) So first of all I would like to say that my thoughts and prayers are directed towards the US military as well as the families and friends of all of the soldiers that never made it back home. The Post had additional information about that poor woman held captive. Hopefully she won't date any more drug dealers. I'm glad that she is safe now.

I'm glad that Mamoudou rescued that child from the balcony. It is nice that France is giving him citizenship and a job as a reward.
