Welcome to another edition of today's news. :) First of all in today's news, if you were hoping to purchase a Lego house of a Christmas Story house this year for Christmas (like I was :sad) then unfortunately I have some rather disappointing news for you as the Lego company has decided not to produce the item after all. What a bummer!

Some good stories today! So glad to see that. That granny with a gun, fighting back against drug dealers? I have worked in that neighborhood, and it needed all the help it could get over 30 years ago.
 
The ineffective way the drug wars are being fought just empowers criminals, and leads to people using harder drugs than they otherwise would.

If the marijuana was helping their son, why is the DEA preventing successful treatment? I think they have lost their way, and forgotten that they are supposed to be helping people.

I'm glad SWAT got that gunman off of the streets.

Good going football team that rescued the couple from their car.

Scientists and doctors are doing a wonderful job of inventing things to help people.

They lost custody of there Son because a naturally grown plant helped with his seizures.

Oh yes and I forgot to mention (while I was still at home) that I'm not sure why they stopped giving him the Marijuana if it was actually helping him.
