In Today's News

International law allows people to seek asylum in any country that has signed the 1951 Convention on asylum. It doesn't have to be the closest country. A European regulation allows European countries to send them back to the first European country they landed in. This puts all the responsibility on Mediterranean countries such as Italy and Greece, who complain that they don't have the facilities to handle so many.

Providing security at public events is becoming pricier.

If there is a public event where someone is just sharing there views and people have organized a protest they should be the ones who get billed. Someone freely sharing there views under there human right and constitutional right should not get billed, the disruptive fascist bigots should get billed.

people attending the event are often robbed and so forth by others. I have attended events where cops where paid to be there as drinking was involved. don't like it, don't go. large events here cause traffic problems. I will post another photo of a vet event to bring attention to us and our issues soon. I helped plan the route and we used our own to block traffic. the city was told and knew. if we had more we had to use the cops .

If people protest a free speech event and cause trouble its defined as terrorism as its politically motivated violence. It dont matter what side it is. There should be zero tolerance on terrorism.

The cost of virtually any service provided by people has become astronomical in the US. Many cities can't afford to provide security, and neither can many event sponsors. This at a time when additional security is needed.

People would have to be pretty brainwashed to get extreme over other people views. Someones opinion effects there life so much they have to flip out over it.

Nighty night there April...
I'm about to hit the sheets myself.

Thank you, pleasant dreams. I will be leaving soon for the night, but first I have to say that I'm really glad that precious baby boy is safe and sound now in the arms of the Lord. :halo Some mighty sick people in this world unfortunately. I guess people with hearts as big as yours make up for it at least a little bit. :)

May the Lord bless you.
