Bible Study Is It Anything About The Sabbath That We Must Know?

No Sir, I do not agree with your statement, because in all of our studies as a Christian the king James version had been proven to be one of the best to use, even with the open edition which brings out more detailed information.
So you're implying all the others are wrong?

The message is the same in them all.
Hebrews 4:8
(AFV) For if Joshua had given them rest, He would not have spoken long afterwards of another day.

(BBE) For if Joshua had given them rest, he would not have said anything about another day.

(CEV) If Joshua had really given the people rest, there would not be any need for God to talk about another day of rest.

(ERV) We know that Joshua did not lead the people into the place of rest that God promised. We know this because God spoke later about another day for rest.

(ESV) For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not have spoken of another day later on.

(GNB) If Joshua had given the people the rest that God had promised, God would not have spoken later about another day.

(ISV) For if Joshua had given them rest, he would not have spoken later about another day.

(KJV) For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.

(NLT) Now if Joshua had succeeded in giving them this rest, God would not have spoken about another day of rest still to come.

(NRSV) For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not speak later about another day.

(WEB) For if Joshua had given them rest, he would not have spoken afterward of another day.

Representative of the other translations/versions:

(ESV) "For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not have spoken of another day later on." Or as the ERV has it; "We know that Joshua did not lead the people into the place of rest that God promised. We know this because God spoke later about another day for rest."

However, The KJV says: "For if Jesus [i.e., Joshua] had given them rest, then would he [God] not afterward have spoken of another day."

This looks to me like it's saying that He didn't speak afterward about another day.

Therefore, it remains that we must enter God’s rest. The call went out to the Israelites, but they were disobedient and never found rest because of their unbelief. So the Lord designated another day. It could be today that you hear the Lord calling.

The writer in Hebrews chapter four is speaking about ‘today,’ meaning the present day. He is saying, “if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts.” Perhaps you hear the voice of God occasionally on this forum? If you haven't then you are hearing it now. The message is, “if you feel the call of the Lord, do not harden your heart.”

Joshua was leading the people into the Promised Land, and if the people had found rest, (there never has been rest in Israel) he would not have spoken of another day later.

The writer of Hebrews is referring to Psa 95:7-11. Here it is in the KJV.

“For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. Today if ye will hear his voice, (8) Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness: (9) When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my work. (10) Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways: (11) Unto whom I swore in my wrath that they should not enter my rest.”

The mention of Joshua reminds us that the name “Jesus” is the same as “Joshua.” The second Joshua will finish what the first Joshua left unfinished. Jesus is greater than both Moses and the first Joshua.

The other day, is our opportunity to get right with God, today.

My bad. My last sentence that you quoted should have read: "This looks to me like the KJV is saying that He didn't speak afterward about another day."
