Is it Wrong to Think About Hell All the Time?

Joh_3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

So what is perish? literately speaking? Strongs says
G622
ἀπόλλυμι
apollumi
ap-ol'-loo-mee
From G575 and the base of G3639; to destroy fully (reflexively to perish, or lose), literally or figuratively: - destroy, die, lose, mar, perish.

If you leave eternal damnation out of Gods word you leave out the gospel, there would have been no reason for Jesus to come, but he did come because no man could do what Jesus did.. he drank what was in that cup in the garden.. if you don't understand what was in that cup you will not fully realize what your salvation means..

IMO i aint leaving it out just trying to figure it out

What do you mean by eternal damnation? A damnation that can not be reversed, regardless of whether that means conscious or not? Or a damnation that is for forever happening to a conscious person?

KevinK my most honest answer... i dont know...

one person says hell is this another says that.. What Did God mean with the use of perish and death? I dont know...

Lets let a few others weigh in, a nine year old girl in Texas when the assistant Pastor asked his congregation what was in that cup she spit the answer right out.. but the adults were clueless, It kind of solidifies these words Jesus spoke in..

Matthew 11: 25 At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes.

*edit: it was chapter 11 not 14.. :)

I would say it signifies something wrong in the believer's spiritual life if they think about hell all the time.

How about one has eternal life and the other has eternal death?
Well, you are still eternally conscious in hell. That is life.If a person who went to hell would be annihilated and destroyed that would be death. But they will have a resurrected body and are they will be very aware of what they are experiencing.....for an eternity.

Chapter and verse to support these thoughts?

Eternal fire
Matthew 25:41
Everlasting contempt
Daniel 12:2
Everlasting destruction
2 Thessalonians 1:9
Tormented day and night forever and ever
Revelation 20:10

Yet God says this ..
Rom_6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

By those verses explain to me what you think death is and where the saved and unsaved go when they die.
