I come from a non-Trinitarian background.

which of the three persons of the trinity died on the cross? the Father, The Son or the Holy Spirit?

what does the bible record that was called by a name that died on the cross? which person of the trinity. I know the answer, I don't think you are thinking this out, if I was NOT a Trinitarian and asked this, YOU would say God died on the cross. well there is three Persons called God in the bible.

Jesus Christ is God and Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins.

Do you really believe that God the Father and the Holy Spirit didn't feel and experience all the pain Jesus went through?
They had to if they are all God and there is only one God.

NO, I don't. how does an all knowing God need to feel things. more time in the torah for me on yom kippur. the lamb that the sin was laid on for the people is a good reference to know what the cross is about. I try not to take the Jew out of jesus.

so rollo you don't believe in the trinity?
 
Do some of you realize how close you are coming to saying God committed suicide? (Depending, of course, on your particular view of theology)

BTW, I believe in the Trinity.

read up on what the trinity is.
is the Holy Spirit the same PERSON as the SON. if so then How can it be said He shall NOT speak of HIMSELF when The Lord spoke of HIMSELF on the cross. The HOLY SPIRIT points to the Cross always. But he isn't the son. they the three persons are in untity and in unity in nature but are separate persons. basic stuff and I wasn't raised to believe this. I didn't even know what the bible said fully on it until I came here. I learned while claiming a Trinitarian stance.

I asked you why you said god is god, the son is god and the holy spirit is god. then you argued. kathi just stated the correct position.
