Just to clarify, God the Father sent His Son as a Man; it is the Son whom we know as Jesus Christ and not the Father.

Correct. Jesus on earth frequently prayed to His Father in Heaven. God the Father did not decide to come to earth as a human being. And God the Father spoke to His Son several times. They are two distinct Persons.
Learn from them...? I believe her idea is to teach them Christ...

You also believe as a Messianic Jew that Abraham is the father of many nations and a covenant was made with his one seed, the Messiah, Jesus. Making all those in Christ the children of Abraham.Including converted Muslims.

Hello Rollo,
Wonderful verse! Jesus was not saying that He was the Father; and the Scriptures never characterize God as sending Himself.
While Scripture recognizes one God, it differentiates between the Father and the Son. I have read on these forums a couple of times where someone has said 'God sent Himself.' Yes, the LORD Jesus Christ is God; but He is the Son of God the Father. The Father sent the Son.
The Father did not send Himself.
God the father,God the Son,and God the Holy Spirit.
Isn't that before Jesus was sitting on the throne at the right hand side of the Father?Surely he knows the day and time now.
