Is Killing an Image in a Computer Game a Sin?

If you torture data long enough.....it will confess to anything. It is so hard to see let alone give up that which we have grown to love. An Image to worship by some consciences.
Babylon Rules most people's conscience in the first world. Division will cause many to fall. When Babylon dwells in the Hearts of Mankind, then Spiritual Eyes will not see or follow a correct path. Those who Teach this are continually being suppressed by many who teach a, 'go back to sleep everything is going to be alright, you will be raptured, Gospel. Hey I do it (worship the Image)....come on join me and do it too'. A Strong Delusion wearing out the Saints.
Questions, "do you think there should be computer games in Heaven"? Can they distract from Spirituality?
 
Its all moving Images or Crystal Glass we're looking at. One of the reasons I never involved myself with Internet chat forums til a month ago because I am against encouraging their use. Hollywood Disney TV Computers Games Internet and Cell Phones are leading in teaching in a blind, deaf moral collapse. We certainly love are inventions. Could we give them up without being force? I don't think so by the reaction I am gotten on the internet that most everyone likes this and wants it to continue. I believe this forcing will happen for most because of the hardening of the Hearts the Lord will have to destroy our world in order for us to see His. Loss of possessions or loss of self which is greater?

Kinda can't if you can't work ,bank or drive a car .
 
I don't prefer my children to kill in video games, but if they do.......it is an alien or something like that. I despise call of duty games and stuff like that. (even though my husband does play those) :confused2 I do not like the shoot-em up movies either! John Wick was horrifying. I would boycott shooting games and movies, but people like what they like.
 
This is a can of worms question. Action and intention of yourself and the game. Some games I find this is on the sinful side like Grand Theft Auto, Saints Row, Dead Island, etc. The people or zombies look so real and the intentions of these games clearly isn't good and promotes criminal activities. If you are talking about like Mario killing a turtle...it seems like a different story.

Thou shall not Kill does distinguish what life forms so I would take it that means all life. if we kill some other life form Does that make it all right? If we make people red or blue would that be enough to say their not fully human? See where I am going with this? Killing a Image just leads to hardening your Heart to sensitivity.

Killimg animals is a sin? I get the concern over this but I,add since I,train in,self defense .its to,harm ,kill I, defense ,though knife and aggressive methods are taught .

Can't see the difference
 
I hate violent,movies or games,but,others can watch and play them and aren't affected ,this is a Romans 14 issue .

I totally understand what you are saying (the sensitivity part) We shouldn't get a rush out of killing something. I will kill spiders though! I have heard people's accounts of going to hell and they see huge spiders there. :eek

I've been playing games with violence in them since I was 5, never once shouted out that I hated anybody. I think violent games and tv shows can increase violence in a person but ONLY if that person is already violent. I guess you can say that violent media is like gasoline. It can make a existing little fire into a bonfire, but it won't just burst on its own. I hope that makes sense :tongue

I get how you would see it that way. I like John Wick and other violent action movies because it is so overblown. Like seeing a guy doing a triple backflip somersault of a ledge just to kill somebody is dumb, but also kinda cool! I'm obviously over exaggerating but action movies in and of themselves are very unrealistic and is nothing like real life violence.

You can lead a horse to water but you can't make a horse drink. Most people have been taught by the Images they worship. You cannot serve 2 masters. I hope this makes sense.

There is a danger withanything we do constantly.
It is called desensitizing, where we become so accustomed to an image that it no longer moves us.
It is a real problem and is why violent criminals become more and more violent.
