Is there a chance that the theory of evolution is wrong? If we as humans are not perfect, is it possible our theories are also imperfect? Since no man knows 100% of everything, I believe it is very possible that our science can be wrong. If it was always 1000% accurate, that means we would have perfect knowledge, which we do not have. So then, why won't evolutionists at least admit they could be wrong? I believe in Creation but I admit I could be wrong. Why can't evolutionists do the same? That is all I ask.

There's a chance that the sun won't appear in the east tomorrow morning. A slightly better chance than the one that evolution might be wrong. It's been directly observed.

Has anyone ever seen a kind of animal evolve into a different kind of animal? In other words, has a human ever seen a dog turn into a giraff or a whale into a hamster? I see many variations within the species, dogs have dogs, cows have cows. But I have never seen a dog turn into an elephant. I know evolutionists don't teach that, but you get my point. They do teach that our earliest ancestor is some kind of fish that crawled it's way to shore to avoid their prey. Then apparently over millions and millions of years, apes evolved and finally humans. Perhaps in millions of years we will turn into something else. I will be in heaven by that point and it won't matter. I am willing to die believing that creation is correct and evolution is wrong. If I am wrong, God will tell me and I will gladly accept it. If God were to tell the evolutionist who make it to heaven that their theory was wrong, I wonder how they would take it? What if God tells both creationists and evolutions that both are wrong?

Has anyone ever seen a giant redwood grow from a seed? You doubt that, too?

You think that's what it's about. No wonder you hate science. I'd hate it too, if I thought it was like that.

I see many variations within the species, dogs have dogs, cows have cows. But I have never seen a dog turn into an elephant.

That's good. It would be a very hard thing for evolutionary theory to explain. Have you ever seen a giant redwood grow from a seed?

I know evolutionists don't teach that, but you get my point.

I guess so. It's to produce a cartoon version of science so you can knock it down.

They do teach that our earliest ancestor is some kind of fish that crawled it's way to shore to avoid their prey.

Um, no.

Then apparently over millions and millions of years, apes evolved and finally humans. Perhaps in millions of years we will turn into something else. I will be in heaven by that point and it won't matter. I am willing to die believing that creation is correct and evolution is wrong.

To be precise, creation is right, and evolution is right.

Huxley said he would say, "Gentlemen, I was wrong."

Barbarian, today on the Discovery Channel, it did say that a fish was our earliest ancestor. Apparently, the fish crawled to shore and evolved into several animals until apes and then humans. Perhaps they are misrepresnting evolution. I did see it in a text book once too though.

This is why it's generally not a good idea to get your science from television. We certainly have earlier ancestors than fish.

Apparently, the fish crawled to shore and evolved into several animals until apes and then humans.

No. Individual organisms don't evolve. Forget The Simpsons.

I did see it in a text book once too though.

Really? I occasionally review science textbooks. Which one?

What was our earliest ancestor? And how did our ancestors seperate from each other? How did we seperate from apes?

Regardless of what you think of his philosophy, from the point of view of his relevant scientific knowledge and facility at explanation, you might find it profitable to read Richard Dawkins' The Ancestor's Tale.
