[__ Science __ ] Is veganism new age?

Well, what are you supposed to do if the doctor recommends you a certain diet and then, if you refuse to follow it, he refuses to see you anymore and tells you that you're on your own?

Then you find a different doctor. Me and my doctor have bumped heads a few times. It's always the younger stupid doctors that try to run you over with their education, ha!

The entire health industry operates on feedback from the patient. This hurts, that's sore, I'm sick, I'm...whatever. You the patient give them the information and they respond to that and suggest a solution. Then followup, feedback, did it work, do you like? blah blah blah and go from there.

Any doctor not willing to listen to you should be fired. I told one doctor, I am the patient. I live with the condition 24/7. While I respect your education you can't come in here and read my chart for three minutes and think you know more about me than I do. That's wrong and not how it's supposed to work. That young docor got up and left in a huff. This happened to happen in front of an older doctor and about 5 med students. Interns or whatever. Everybody laughed when I said that to the guy. After he left the older doctor told me I was exactly right.
Don't let them doctors run you over.

What is the good old way? What did people do before hospitals were invented? Oh, that's right, they went to the church.

Very simple, you admit you are ignorant, repent and start following Jesus's commands.
Well, how can I follow His commands if I am emotionally unable to? His first command was: "You shall love The Lord, your God, will all your heart, soul and mind."

How am I supposed to love God if I disagree with Him and feel angry at Him?

And I don't seem to be emotionally able to follow the second commandment either. I don't feel love for my brethren either. My emotions seem broken.

I don't understand why Jesus had to suffer and die, and the reason that "without shedding of blood there's no remission of sins" doesn't seem logical to me. Who made those rules and why did He make them like that?

One starts by repenting, saying sorry to God for not obeying his laws, for having the arrogance to think one knows better than God.
Nothing is going to happen untill one gets in a right relationship with ones God and creator.

You are arguing with your creator, questioning his judgement, saying I know better.
If you don't understand why the Bible teaches that there is no forgiveness without the shedding of blood you clearly do not know better.

Start at the begining, get right with God. Change from being a slave of the devil to being a slave of God.
You don't have to understand, you just have to start obeying.
