because if you read Genesis it said God, God, God, and never once was Jesus Christ mentioned!!
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men. The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.
John 1:1-5 (NASB)
And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.
John 1:14 (NASB)
No one has seen God at any time; the only begotten God who is in the bosom of the Father, He has explained
Him. John 1:18 (NASB)
For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son
[Jesus Christ], in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
He [Jesus Christ] is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things have been created through Him and for Him. He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.
He is also head of the body, the church; and
He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything. For it was the Father's good pleasure for all the fullness to dwell in Him, and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross; through Him,
I say, whether things on earth or things in heaven.
Colossians 1:13-20 (NASB)
When I saw Him
[Jesus Christ], I fell at His feet like a dead man. And He placed His right hand on me, saying, "Do not be afraid;
I am the first and the last, and the living One; and I was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of death and of Hades. Revelation 1:17-18 (NASB)
"Who has performed and accomplished
it, Calling forth the generations from the beginning?
'I, the LORD, am the first, and with the last. I am He.'" Isaiah 41:4 (NASB)
"Thus says the LORD, the King of Israel and his Redeemer, the LORD of hosts:
'I am the first and I am the last, And there is no God besides Me. Isaiah 44:6 (NASB)
"Listen to Me, O Jacob, even Israel whom I called;
I am He, I am the first, I am also the last. "Surely My hand founded the earth, And My right hand spread out the heavens; When I call to them, they stand together. Isaiah 48:12-13 (NASB)
Jesus Christ is the same Lord God Almighty in both testaments.
