Isn't my avatar the cutest ever???

I love it! (The picture, not rabbit stew.:biggrin2) Used to have them for pets myself. That's why I always found it hard to eat them. Only tried it once and felt like I was eating my friend. :cries

WE used to have rabbits as pets. The cutest and most adorable pets in the world are baby bunnies. I used to cuddle with them in bed at night.

We did the same thing. My ex wanted to raise rabbits for food. It never worked because I would fall in love with the bunnies. Never once did we ever kill one to eat. So much for his plan.

Looks tasty I haven't had a good rabbit stew for ages. I'm not sure why rabbit has been taken off our menus.

That was my initial thought too, lol. I do like rabbit and have ate quite a bit of it. Sure, they're cute but hey they are tasty too.

A few days ago we witnessed a cute but sad event.
One of the baby bunnies that live in our yard hopped up to one of the larger species of chipmunks (Rocky Mt.) that was eating seeds we put out on the stepping stones.
The chippie reached out and touched her nose on the bunny's nose. That bunny jump up in the air, kicked hitting the chippie lightly on the head, and ran. The chip looked so disappointed and watch the bunny leave.
She is the only one of her kind that has shown up this year and we think she is lonely with no one to play with. The smaller species of chips are afraid of her.
She eats out of our hands and sits on our laps. Poor little lonely one.

Yeah it was my initial thought, too. That's scary, because I'm a vegetarian. :lol
But I must protect myself from cuteness. Cuteness kills brain cells and makes grown ups talk like babies
itty bitty bunny wunny
:angry3

Are chipmunks tasty ?

So cute and I don't think I could eat this one. I will stick to the wild ones in my yard to eat. Rabbits taste like chicken, LOL

This wouldn't work for us because we end up making wild pets out of almost every animal that comes in our yard.
Lexy and her friend have been making juice a couple times a week, turns out chips really prefer kale over several other veggies and fruit.
