Who fired the first rocket?

There was and always will be conflict as Israel lost her right to be called Gods chosen people, (God did save a faithful remnant), as they fell into idolatry worshiping other gods as they allowed themselves to fall from Gods grace as they followed the lust of their own hearts as they practiced Judaism, 1 Kings 9:1-9. God’s judgment against them led them to be captured, 605 – 537 B.C., by Nebuchadnezzar and taken into Babylon for seventy years while Nebuchadnezzar’s army killed many Jews in Judah and Jerusalem destroying the whole city of Jerusalem including the first Temple that was built through King Solomon’s reign in Jerusalem.

The second Temple was built under Ezra’s leadership and Israel continued practicing Judaism and their Temple was desecrated as part of an effort to impose Greek-oriented culture and customs on the entire population. Roman rule refurbished the temple as Herod, Romans vassal king, rules the land of Israel. In 70 A.D. the Temple is once again destroyed. The Temple Mount was taken over in 691 A.D. as the Arab nation built the Dome of the Rock and there has not been any other Temple built since that time on the original Temple Mount.

God gave Israel 490 years to repent. They were set free from Babylon when the Medes and Persian conquered Babylon (Chaldean) around 538 B.C. They were allowed back in the land and to rebuild the city of Jerusalem, however, they still did not repent for their sin of idol worshiping and they continued to receive punishment from God as the kingdom was taken away and eventually taken over by the Roman Empire. Malachi Chapter 1-4.

The 490 years were up and many of the Jews not only did not repent but they killed the very Messiah they had been waiting for as well as in 24 A.D. they made an opened display of rejecting the Gospel message as they stoned Stephen being the final messenger that was sent to give them their last chance to repent. The Jews were now rejected as God’s chosen people and were no different from the Gentiles as from that time forth each individual, Jew and Gentile has to make their own decision to accept or reject Jesus as Lord and Savior, John 3:3-7; Romans 10:9, 10.

When Israel orders its sniper teams to single out and murder children their moral fiber is gone, they no longer have a soul.
The living today will witness their final days. Doomsday is just around the corner.
They could still repent, confess their past sinful ways and ask the Lord for forgiveness & I am sure the Lord would forgive them.

You are only telling half the story. It is a known fact that Hamas puts innocent civilians in the line of fire and they build their armanents in housing areas in the hope that they can get mileage to accuse Israel of killing women and children. The death toll of Palestinians would be a lot less than what it is if they stopped doing this. But when you are motivatede by rage and anger and want what you cannot have, you will make stupid decisions.

To prove they are stupid decisions I only have to ask the question "How many wars against Israel have the Palenstinians won?" The answer is zero. If they fight another 100 wars with Israel they still won't win any of them. It is a lost cause because God said he would return the Jews to their land and no one will remove them from it so the two state soluition is pie in the sky.

If group (A) bulldozes entire villages, cuts off fishing rights, water rights, assassinates children and leaders this would be classified as terrorism

If group (B) was the target of group (A) and they responded by firing rockets in retaliation this would not be classified as terrorism, but an attempt to persuade group (A) from doing what they have been doing.

At least this is how I see it

You have done an excellent job at laying out the history of God’s struggle with His chosen. Sadly, they have not changed their ways. Murder seems to be the only trade they have mastered.
When Israel orders its sniper teams to single out and murder children their moral fiber is gone, they no longer have a soul.
The living today will witness their final days. Doomsday is just around the corner.
They could still repent, confess their past sinful ways and ask the Lord for forgiveness & I am sure the Lord would forgive them.

Anyone care to guess what happens next?

I disagree with for_his_glory's statement that Israel lost her 'right' to be God's chosen people. I don't believe she ever had the 'right'. It was always a matter of God's making and choosing. And I don't believe God will ever forsake her.

I am concerned with your view of Israel. And understand, no matter how much I as a Christian want to support Israel, I still must recognize that she has rejected Christ, and her God. In other words, she is a nation in rebellion against God at this present time. Meaning, not everything she does is pleasing to God.

This discussion involves Israel's presence in the land. No matter how much you may find fault with Israel in what she does to protect herself in that land, you must recognize that the Palestinians, and all her enemies over there, don't want her there period. Israel being there is their problem. It wouldn't matter if Israel never did anything wrong to the Palestinians. They don't want Israel there.

This takes us back to 1948....no, lets go farther back, to the book of Joshua. How do you view Israel's conquest of Palestine as ordered by God?

The Egyptian Pharaoh gave the Jews total control of Egypt.

All the Jewish people left Cannon and moved to Egypt where they ruled for a long time, until--- see the beginning of the Exodus at the bottom of this post ---

Then Moses murders a man in the street

1 One day, after Moses had grown up, he went out to where his own people were and watched them at their hard labor. He saw an Egyptian beating a Hebrew, one of his own people. 12 Glancing this way and that and seeing no one, he killed the Egyptian and hid him in the sand. 13 The next day he went out and saw two Hebrews fighting. He asked the one in the wrong, "Why are you hitting your fellow Hebrew?"

Notice, at that time Hebrews and Egyptians were considered ONE

14 The man said, "Who made you ruler and judge over us? Are you thinking of killing me as you killed the Egyptian?" Then Moses was afraid and thought, "What I did must have become known."

15 When Pharaoh heard of this, he tried to kill Moses, but Moses fled from Pharaoh and went to live in Midian, where he sat down by a well. 16
