It's Official, The World Is Going to be Taken Over By Robots

Yet Hollywood often using satire states truth.

1984 is not only science fiction but is a despotic novel written by a man who observed socialism up,close .

I believe its in those novel that he says those who hate the truth...

The fact is the robotic makers do envision fully sentient robots .
Tesla and others do push for that.I,don't see it happening but well but I'm,not,God and can't rule it out either ,we synthesize a bacteria based on DNA .

Could we create minds in long distant future we have created computer circuits based on our neurons and they are faster then older ones .that computer was based to be one half left and right and two of them,made a simulated brain with a distant connection to simulate the callusum

After trying to find the name since the 40s we have tried to create ai based on our own brains ,many functions of ai are called neurons in programming .

Military robots are a different story than vacuum cleaners and lawn mowers. Military robots developed by those not concerned with freedom could indeed oppress the people. Its important to differentiate between the two.

Civilian care bots are good. Military bots used by dictators are oppressive. The other side is going to develop bots regardless of whether the US or Europe do.

As a matter of fact, US seems to be lagging behind in manufacturing technology. An example would be Boeing's 737 Max, which they can't keep in the air. Boeing is the only remaining US producer of commercial airlines, and their technology has somehow not been kept up to world safety standards. Meanwhile, China can produce as much steel as the rest of the world put together.

Bank and lobby central planning of the economy is less efficient than the free market capitalism that made the US #1 during the 20th century. Lots of zombie corporations now exist in the USA, due to out of control credit creation and lobbyists demanding monopolies (license raj).

Air Force has started the Skyborg program to produce robot planes. The other guys are investing heavily in AI war machine development.

Carebots for the elderly would be helpful. Warbots produced by other countries might be scary. The US should implement an honest dollar, and restore free market capitalism to regain #1 status in manufacturing. Dishonest currency and lobbyist nest feathering is moving the US backward, allowing other nations to become manufacturing super powers. They can manufacture warbots with this industrial capacity.

You mean in worldly standards of good and bad people. Robots don't have souls though so how can they choose to sin or not? :confused

And despite gun bans,homemade machine guns are made to include sub machine guns,cop robots ,a person already has armed a drone with fireworks and gun and well ,banning it won't work .

I,doesn't have to be the govt .

Personal security will include a house armed robot .

Which would make us more vulnerable .don't,think,a person can build a robot to kill and it won't get ptsd,care if it died in the mission .just follows orders.

Interestimg times.as a kid I,didn't see this but as an adult terminator anyone ?

Uavs can level your home before your robot would even bother .I have seen small uavs big enough to arm with a few weapons .they do get bigger the predator can,carry helfire rockets.that will level a tank.

I'm sure the right guy can build this .scary times.making it illegal won't stop it

You are right. If robots are illegal, only criminals will have robots. The majority will be at their mercy.

Better if people have carebots in their home to take care of the elderly, and a security bot to keep them safe from at least some of what is out there.

Of course home security bots won't protect from a Predator drone armed with missiles. The military protects us from that kind of stuff. Foreign countries don't send a lot of Predator drones to attack American civilians because the military keeps them away.

People build things ,I have a co-worker who,modified his ad 15 to fully auto.had the springs made and installed them.

A willing mind had killed many a us soldiers with house hold devices used as a trigger.a drone carrying,a land mine flying over the vehicle and exploding is very effective .
