It's Snowing!
I got sun burned here two days ago. In only three hours... as long as I could stand to work out in that blazing, blistering sun.

It's finally cool today... down into the 70's

some people are just rude...
no one is stopping you from moving to freer climates and freedom from heavy taxation. my ad valorem for my home isn't over 500 bucks a year. :)

This guy Allen every one talks about.
Is he another look-a-like, like Kevin Spacey...
I'm thinking more like Carrot Top, except not buffed out.
...or something?
Yeah, 'something' all right.
Is he talented...
If pinching one side of your nose and blowing out the other side instead of going in to get a kleenex is talented, then, 'yes', he's talented.
...witty...
Yeah, right.
...controversial...
He is a bit of a rebel.
...good looking...
Good at looking at TV all day.

Look! It's snowing at Rollo's house:

Got 13 inches of snow yesterday.

We got a couple inches last night. It's very cold here too, but the roads were clear so it was perfect furnace man weather. Praise the Lord! Cha'Ching! Good day today!

Too cold for heat pumps there?

I worked on a heat pump today. I only serviced it, it was working ok. Heat pumps are not very popular in Colorado. I'm not sure why, it's mild enough most of the time here that I would think that they would work well. I only work on maybe one per year here. It was too cold today for a heat pump! About 25° all day. I checked it out anyway and put it on override so it would come on and did a ∆T on it... 0° temperature rise, lol. There was no heat in the air at all.

Willis P. would be so proud.

Who's Willis P.? :blush

TOG what is the normal temp in Iceland, wait a minute I'll find it. Okay I am back, I found it.

Weather in Iceland

rejktemps.jpg

Monthly average temperatures for Reykjavik, Iceland, in Fahrenheit.
Iceland's weather is cool, and the Icelandic climate is temperate. The warm North Atlantic Current ensures generally higher temperatures than in most places of similar latitude in the world. Iceland's winters are mild and windy while the summers are cool which is typical for Scandinavia. With Iceland's unique geological position, keep in mind possible activity of volcanoes in Iceland.

There are some variations in the climate between different parts of the island. Oftentimes, the south coast is warmer, wetter and windier than the north. Snowfall in winters is more common in the north of Iceland.

Move to Iceland. It's a lot warmer than Minnesota in the winter.

The TOG

I read somewhere that way back in the day, they named Iceland, Iceland, so that people wouldn't want to go there. And they named Greenland Greenland so that they would want to go there, but in reality, Iceland is really very nice and mild.

Look at all those trees! It's nice there! View attachment 5326

These are the types of trees I'm referring to.

I used to live in the town across the river there. (St.Croix Falls, WI.)
