sorry, don't go down this road too far--- it hurts more and more if you find out.

I was in the medical field for over 10 years. I was taught and worked with those you are trying to defend, and they are totally indefensible in what they do/ did to people. and I learned why. i think from tob's post that he experienced it also.

if you knew how badly they treat people, you wouldn't even think of saying the things you say defending them.

we don't have nearly the time needed to see how Scripture exposes them also. later, perhaps, as the truth is crucial for being set free.

truthfully, no worries for the moment. Yhwh is in charge and only He is able anyway to accomplish anything as He chooses. may we all learn from Him as He permits.

Bullying is incredibly destructive and can scar people for life. It's definitely something that eeds to be dealt with, but I see problems with outlawing bullying or holding parents accountable.
One big problem is how to define bullying versus normal human conflicts or hurtful/ aggressive acts that are unfortunate but somewhat natural between humans, and especially kids.
And even if a teenager is definitely a huge bully you can't parents accountable, at least not for the crime the bully committed (I guess you could possibly charge them with neglect, but that's something different). What the kid does at school is not under the direct control of the parents, and I bet oftentimes the parents are unaware their kid is a bully at all.

Bullying is illegal where I live. The law defines it as...

...repeated inappropriate behavior, i.e. act or behavior that is likely to humiliate, belittle, insult, offend, discriminate or threaten and cause discomfort to those for whom it is directed. Sexual harassment and other emotional or physical violence falls into this category. This does not include differences of opinion or conflicts of interest that may arise in the workplace between administrator and employee, or between two or more employees provided that such differences or conflicts of interest do not lead to the conduct described above. ​

This law about bullying is seldom enforced, since other ways besides pressing charges are usually tried first and usually work. But having the law on the books and the possibility of enforcing it strengthens the position of people who are victims of bullying . And even though the law is never enforced on children, being able to tell them that what they are doing is illegal helps a lot in dealing with bullying in schools.

That's CLASSIFIED CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION ----- i.e. the public is not aware of what actually goes on with others. That's why so many of them are puppets of the administration or some aspect of it. The truth is not permitted to be published, as you well know, and the truth breaks to pieces all the political and social and economic and worldly arguments that almost every one has.

Never have I desired to shoot or hurt others.
In fact, I am the opposite!
It was many years before I found the right medications that help me the most.
It just hurts when mentally ill people are so generalized.
At my mental health clinic I am surrounded by mentally ill people who are nice to be around.
Never has anyone gone nuts and hurt others. They are people, troubled by illness. Everyone has troubles that may last a season or a year or a lifetime.

I can imagine it does hurt you when people point their finger at those who are mentally ill and say they are about to commit a crime.That is like pointing your finger at a person who has blue eyes and saying they are guilty.It depends on the illness and if that illness has been recognized and if that person has gotten help.Of course there are people who do not have a mental illness who have commited a crime.But when I hear about it I always ask.......why?

Are you saying that because you have a mental illness you are demon possessed?Maybe you should spend a few months in their shoes.You might have a different attitude about it.And that means you would be taking some of those "anti psychotic drugs" and see what it is like to take them and what the side effects feel like.

no, the emphasis(mine anyway, and I believe Scripture) is NOT on having a mental illness. the emphasis is that many people put on drugs are put on drugs for very obvious reasons that have nothing to do with their health, and that the society system is at fault and cannot be fixed.

many people diagnosed with mental illness, elderly especially, are suffering from dehydration or hypoglycemia. it is often that simple.

i didn't say that Kathi we live in a spiritual world, i know it doesn't appear that way but as the saying goes appearances are deceiving.. I thought going in a Christian I'd be on easy street when in fact those institutions are the devils playground.. After the hammer incident they served me and my family our walking papers, saying Christianity put these people in there and that their ways were better.. All of those smiling faces shifted gear when i told them about Jesus... Those patients were begging to be set free but the state wanted no part in it.. :yes

A psychiatrist needs to be very,very careful who she/he puts on some of those medications.There is no blood test for mental illnesses that I am aware of.If a person has diabetes or a thyroid disorder they can do a blood test and confirm that but not with a mental illness.There are a number of physical illlnesses that can look like a mental illness.A very good and through Psychiatrist will do a number of blood test before they would even consider putting someone on a medication for Bi-polar or a number of other mental illnesses to rule- out another reason for the behavior.By making a mistake and putting a patient on a anti-depressant or an anti-psychotic medication it can actually bring on a mental illness.Because it alters the chemistry of the brain.I would never let a regular medical doctor such as an internist or general practictioner but me on an medication for a mental illness.They don't know what they are doing.

You can not be a Christian and be possessed.The Holy Spirit and demons just do not mix.I have had my experiences with mental institutions.I think that some of the staff are sicker than the patients.It seems like these kind of people are drawn to these professions.Did you see "One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest?".Do you remember nurse Rachet?Well,there are actually medical staff in mental institutions like her.

for illegal research purposes, anyone who can find out about pellagra and what it was and what it did and what was done for it around 1900 to 19030 might find some very revealing information that they can in no way talk about freely nor discuss in any public arena. (yet).

medically, it is illegal to discuss because of laws the money-profit-mongers passed last century.

there were doctors who could and did test for what caused all changes in normal behaviour, and they discovered quite a bit over 100 years ago that no one hears about today (because it is against the political code of silence).

and Jesus is not allowed to heal anyone officially, in the untied sates and in france --- people who heal others are subject to imprisonment.

you're practically totally right Kathi about people in those professions. and it goes much farther than that.(I was in that profession, and everyone who has tried to publish the truth has disappeared) but whoever seeks the truth will find it, if they don't give up. (I found it and wasn't even looking for it !!! sheer grace !!! )
