It's time to outlaw bullying

You have that right.Mental illness is a chemical imbalance of the brain. But even we as Christians sin everyday.
God calls all mankind stupid - says the wisdom of all men is foolishness to Him. He does not equate mental illness to sin. No.
But the whole world is void of intelligence as far as God is concerned .

as for the second statement, no time to debate nor argue, but please just simply read first john chapters 1 through 5. not everyone is required to sin every day. (that's what is said in first john; so if you disagree, then take it up with the author of first john)

I don't think, as a Christian, you would want to sin, but people are at different stages in life and may not live up to the standard. And remember... There is no one good, no, not one.

that's not what is written in first john chapters one through five (and a hundred other places in Scripture - but first john is written for baby christians who want to know they really are christians - it explains how they can know.

(and unfortunately for many churches it also explains how they can truthfully know if they are not)

I'm a christian, Not a child. But I still sin. If you think you are without sin then you are lying.

if you chose to ignore God's Word, as it is simply written in first john, that is up to you. no one should ever be made to be set free or to read what they don't want to.
however,
Psalm 1
King James Version (KJV)
1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.

5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.

6 For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

sin (and the lies we have been told all of our lives about sin)

if you're a christian, and i hope truthfully you totally are, you will rejoice to read first john and not hesitate to.

i read it many many times when a new believer, and many many times since then --- it is still totally necessary for life and obedience to God the Savior and Creator as He makes all things possible.

Where in the Bible does it say the "God calls all mankind stupid?".
[

When I was homeless I was a theif at times. I didn't hear voices telling me to steal. I stole because I had no money and seemingly no way out of homelessness. My illness, however, would terrify me without sin. One afternoon on a grassy area I was sure that I would be shot by a sniper that was aiming at me to kill me from a hotel window.
Are you in a better place now Angel? Are you safe now?

[
psalms, revelation, and a few dozen or hundred other places over all, or more.

(foolish, ignorant, blind, pernicious, naked, etc etc etc ) it doesn't take long reading anywhere in the Bible to find it.

pick any book or chapter if you like, and i'll take a look tonight and in the morning to reveal this, Yhwh willing. (He knows everything, so He may not want me to at this time - like if it's just an argument you or someone wants and not to learn. He might require you to find out for yourself. I don't know. He knows.)

So if I'm a christian I will prove it by reading the bible book as well?
I work everyday to surrender to God, and by Christs blood I am without sin. Just because I'm a christian, in my walk with Jesus, that doesn't mean I can completely stop. My flesh wants to sin. Maybe I'm not as mature as you are, but you know what? I am blameless because of Jesus.

GOOD (that last one) ---- IF you're blameless, then you have no sin --- God is holding no sin against you and no one else can say He is.

IF you are a Christian, you love reading His Word through and through - you don't 'have to' as if a rule, but you love to as His Own Word says so. Everyone who has been saved from eternal damnation and destruction loves to read His Word often --- they are hungry for it on a frequent basis and no amount of any kind of other reading will substitute for His Word.

First John addresses whether or not you can completely stop sinning or not, AND tells what to do IF IF IF (IF) you do sin.

If you had bother reading it, you may know this. And His Word is not burdensome.... It is Joyful and Refreshing for the soul who loves Him.

If we confess our sins he is faithful and just to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. I don't know which book that verse is in.

I read the bible almost every day. I just finished the book of Mark. I always cry when Jesus is crucified.
Why can't you just post the scriptures that go along with what you're saying, please?

When was the last time you sinned ?

earlier in the thread:
"mankind doesn't get it"
And are they supposed to? My gripe is the Church of God is supposedly enlightened and still don't, either. Do they know him when they see him?
יהוה
As he said , even the Chruch of God doesn't get it. They avoid what God's Word says about sin and being free from sin; but it is simply written for every child of God to know and read and be free and rejoice in Christ Jesus in.
Problem is, some people never read and never know the truth. It is not commonly known, and even less commonly lived.

no worries then, it can wait until you get there. I don't try to find Scriptures that go along with what I'm saying - I say what I know Scripture says , what is written, and it is often a 'picture' (as the Hebrew way of writing and thinking in the Bible is) that includes dozens or more Scriptures all at once . Not like a scholar, but like a little boy standing in awe of God's beautiful work.

in first john it says clearly that no one born of God continues in sin. this is true both in context and not , unless taken out of context and twisted. so reading it in context - the full few chapters - about 12 minutes reading, is best to get the overall 'picture' and truth.

I hate it when someone(not you angel, you're doing wonderfully i think) twists God's Word to excuse their own sinful life instead of repenting. Like King David said.
They ask questions as if to prove a point contrary to what God's Word simply says. And sometimes to answer them just results in more questions not intended to find out the truth but to somehow get an approval to sin.

Here you go Angel.. it helps to keep a search engine next to your bible on the toolbar..

I John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
