So, yeah, in this case, I have no problem if a jury of her peers found her guilty of involuntary manslaughter, and for the sake of continuity, may the father be found guilty as well.

Well there you go, the Father has been found guilty of 4 counts as well. That's two independent trials before a jury of their peers who have both come to the same conclusion. Guilty!
