What you will find here is a pack of lies and confusion like only the devil can give. The Quran does not match up with the Bible. Even though Mohammed would always say if you don't believe me go to the Bible' yet the Quran does not match up with the Bible. Here we are going to take a look at Jesus in the Quran' and just by reading the below article you will see how wrong the Quran is. Mohammed said he detested anyone who does not believe the Bible' but yet he did not believe that Jesus was the son of God. You can see the problems already. The Quran is supposed to be a continuation of the Bible' how can that be when it does not match up' like Jesus making clay birds come to life and other garbage in the Quran.

Over 1400 years ago, Muhammad (Mohammed) was born in Arabia. His father Abdullah was of the tribe of Qureyshi, and died before Muhammad was born.

As a lad, Muhammad traveled to Syria with his uncle on merchant caravans. Years later, he made the same journey while working for a wealthy widow named Khadijah. He later married her and, even though he was 15 years younger than she was, they had a good marriage.

Muhammad soon gained rank among the notables of Mecca. The Meccans claimed to be descendants of Abraham (Ibrahim).

He was familiar with the teachings of the Jewish and Christian holy book the Bible (perhaps in reading it himself, if he was literate, or in learning of it through oral means via storytelling). One who was greatly respected by Muhammad was Abraham (Ibrahim), whom he called an upright and righteous man.

"Abraham was indeed a paragon of virtue, obedient to ALLAH, ever inclined to HIM, and he was not of those who set up equals with ALLAH; Ever grateful for HIS favours: HE chose him and guided him to a straight path. And WE bestowed on him good in this world, and in the Hereafter he will surely be among the righteous. And now WE have sent revelation to thee, enjoining, 'Follow the way of Abraham who was ever inclined to ALLAH and was not of those who set up equals to HIM.'"—Qur'an, Surah 16:121-124

Abraham was also looked upon as one who fulfilled God's commands:

"And remember when his Lord tried Abraham with certain commandments which he fulfilled, HE said, 'I will make thee a leader of men.' Abraham asked, 'And from among my offspring?' God said, 'MY covenant does not embrace the transgressors.'"—Qur'an, Surah 2:125

Muhammad also had great understanding of the scriptures and faith in the angels who told Zechariah he would have a son (as in Luke 1:18, 57-60).

"So her Lord accepted her with gracious acceptance and caused her to grow an excellent growth and made Zachariah her guardian. Whenever Zachariah visited her in the chamber, he found with her provisions. He said, 'O Mary whence hast thou this ?' She replied, 'It is from ALLAH.' Surely ALLAH gives to whomsoever HE pleases without measure.

Then and there did Zachariah pray to his Lord, saying, 'My Lord grant me from Thyself pure offspring; surely thou art the Hearer of Prayer.'

And the angels called to him as he stood praying in the chamber, 'ALLAH gives thee glad tidings of Yahya, who shall testify to the truth of a word from ALLAH - noble and chaste and a Prophet, from among the righteous.

He said 'My Lord, how shall I have a son, when old age has overtaken me already, and my wife is barren?' He answered, 'Such is the way of ALLAH; HE does what HE pleases,'

He said 'My Lord, give me a commandment.' He replied, 'The commandment for thee is that thou shalt not speak to men for three days except by signs.

And remember thy Lord much and glorify HIM in the evening and in the early morning.' And remember when the angels said, 'ALLAH has chosen thee and purified thee and chosen thee above all women of the time.

'O Mary, be obedient to thy Lord and prostrate thyself and worship the one God with those who worship HIM.'

This is of the tidings of things unseen which WE reveal to thee. And thou was not with them when they cast their arrows, as to which of them should be the guardian of Mary, nor was thou with them when they disputed with one another.

When the angels said, 'O Mary, ALLAH gives thee glad tidings of a son through a word from HIM; his name shall be the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, honoured in this world and in the next, and of those who are granted nearness to God;

'And he shall speak to the people in the cradle, and when of middle age, and he shall be of the righteous.

She said, 'My Lord, how shall I have a son, when no man has touched me? He said, 'Such is the way of ALLAH. HE creates what HE pleases. When HE decrees a thing HE says to it 'Be,' and it is;"—Qur'an, Surah 3:38-48

Muhammad also speaks of the resurrection of Jesus:

"Thereupon she pointed to him. They said, 'How can we talk to one who is a child in the cradle?' Jesus said, 'I am a servant of ALLAH. HE has given me the Book, and has made me a Prophet; 'And HE has made me blessed wheresoever I may be, and has enjoined upon me Prayer and almsgiving so long as I live; 'And HE has made me dutiful towards my mother, and has not made me arrogant and graceless; 'And peace was on me the day I was born, and peace will be on me the day I shall die, and the day I shall be raised up to life again.' That was Jesus, son of Mary. This is a statement of the truth concerning which they entertain doubt."—Qur'an, Surah 19:30-35

In calling Jesus a messenger, Muhammad was also correct. He did not mean that Jesus was not the Messiah. Muhammad knew that one could be a messenger and not be a Messiah… but as The Messiah, one is also a messenger.

Jesus was both a messenger and The Messiah that Allah had promised! What is a Messiah? A Messiah is always known as "a Saviour… a liberator and a deliverer." God had promised to send one (Messiah) to pay the debt of sin for all mankind.

The Messiah!… God's gift to sinful man… The Saviour… The Liberator… Our Redeemer. The prophets of the Torah foretold of His coming. Muhammad and his Disciples revered Him… the Qur'an and the Bible reveal Him! The Messiah… The Saviour of the world! Neither the Qur'an nor the Bible speak of any other as being the Messiah!!!

Dear friend, that is the most profound truth! And it is truth that cannot be denied. Jesus is the one and only Messiah. He is the Saviour. He is the Messiah of the Muslims, the Jews, and the Gentiles. Millions throughout the world of every nation and creed accept Him as Saviour.

Many have followed false Messiahs and had their lives ended in death. They were sincere, but they were sincerely wrong. Had they only accepted the indisputable claim that Jesus is the Messiah, they would have found the peace that they were looking for, and the eternal life that God has promised to all who will accept Jesus as Messiah… the Saviour of the world. Yes, Isah Al Masih loves you! The Messiah that Muhammad wrote about… to forgive you and to be your Saviour… your Liberator… your Deliverer from sin. History tells us that He was crucified and died on a cross. History tells us that three days later there was an empty tomb. History, and hundreds of eye witnesses, tell us that He rose from the dead. But sadly many also reject the love and forgiveness God has offered in Jesus.

Allah has given you a free will. YOU must make a choice. You cannot be neutral.

Don't take this writer's word for it. Investigate for yourself the claims of Muhammad, the prophecies in the Torah, and the life of Jesus written in the Bible. The prophecies that were fulfilled by His birth, life, death and resurrection.

Check out the reasons why Paul, the greatest persecutor of Jesus' followers, became such a strong believer in Jesus as the Messiah… and why he became the world's greatest missionary.

If you are not already a follower of Isah (Jesus), you must make a choice 1) to believe that Jesus is the Messiah OR 2) to reject Him as Saviour. You can choose to believe the Messiah, Jesus, who said He would, and did, rise from the dead. Allah gave Jesus, born miraculously through Mary (Maryam, Sura 3:45) as Muhammed agreed, to the world… for you.

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."—John 3:16

("Son of God" does not mean that God had physical relations with Mary, but rather that God willed it supernaturally that Mary would become the earthly mother of Jesus even as a virgin. See Surah 3:47-48)

Allah loves you. How could anyone want to reject such a wonderful love… reject Allah's forgiveness… His promises of eternal life? The Bible teaches how we can know where we will spend eternity.​
 
I know known several Muslims through school and work. They are same as Christians or any other group. Some good ones some bad ones.

That is another subject' let's not derail this. So what are doing taking up for the Quran ? The only thing wrong with the King James 1611 is some of the translation that it is it. Because at that time translating was limited to what we can translate today.On the other hand the Quran is just plain wrong, and it is not the inspired word of God' it is from the devil.

I am taking up for other people not a book. I read your link. It is saying it can't be true because of grammar errors and stuff like that. The KJV is filled with those so if one is to use that type of logic to discredit the Quran then the KJV fails the same test. Really what I am doing is saying is it isn't nice to pick fights with other religions or demean them. There are plenty of good people who are Muslim.
 
No'no the Quran would have to match up to the Bible and it does not. It has Abraham and Haman building the muslim Kabah together even though they lived at different times. It has a idol cow jumping out of the fire and mooing it has Jesus making clay birds come alive' it has God holding Mt Sinai over the heads of the Hebrews ready to drop it on them. It also say you may beat your wife. I can keep going but do you gwet the picture.

The KJV tell people how to beat their slaves. It also doesn't treat women any better than the Quran in many respects. The point is that both books come out of ancient Jewish traditions of the old testament. They both point towards a good morality in the underlying message. To nit pick one over the phraseology meant for ancient peoples while not doing the same for the other is to miss the point of the underlying messages. Love your neighbor.
 
There is stuff in there that people did not know' do you get that ? Christians should always be armed for things that is out there' so that they can teach others. Especially ungrounded christians so that they are not fooled. There is nothing wrong with teaching others the truth kevinmaynard' don't forget that this is a learning site too. I have been here since 2005 so I know what this site is about. You are acting negative about me posting this subject' and it sounds like you are taking up for this false religion. And that is why I posted it' because Islam is false. This is not a argument.

The Koran is hopelessly riddled with so many errors that no Christian in his right mind could ever accept it. And what's this that Christians have been fighting against the poor innocent Muslims who are mystified as to why. Even the crusades were defensive due to Muslim invasions and violence.

The Koran has many contradictions. For this reason Islam has the law of abrogation, that's where Muhammad's later writings supersede his earlier writings to deal with these contradictions.

The Koran has an endless stream of contradictions. Like who was the first Muslim: Muhammad [6:14, 163], Moses [7:143], some Egyptians [26:51], or Abraham [2:127-133, 3:67] or Adam, the first man who also received inspiration from Allah [2:37]?

Can Allah be seen and did Muhammad see his Lord? Yes [S. 53:1-18, 81:15-29], No [6:102-103, 42:51].

The Koranic contradictions can be seen in Muhammad's view of Christians and Jews. In his earlier writings Muhammad wrote favorably of the Jews and Christians, but then later on he had wars with them and wrote disfavorably toward them.

In his earlier writing he said if anyone has questions about the faith to ask the people of the book, referring to Christians. But later he wrote to kill Christians and Jews, and if any infidels will not convert you are to kill them.

All the predominately Muslim areas of the world are Islamic due to evangelism by way of the sword. Turkey, which was the cradle of Christianity's beginnings, is 99.8 % Muslim today due to this convert or die evangelism. Two million Armenian Christians were murdered in Turkey.

The Muslim controlled government of Sudan today has killed over a million Christians in it's quest to further the Muslim cause. And if terrorists ever get nuclear weapons they will use them to clear the land of non-Muslims, which is following it's tried and true historical method.

Islam is not a religion of peace. Jihad (holy war) is mentioned 60 times in the Koran.

Muhammad left his men with instructions to take the battle against the Christians, Persians and Jews. For the next four centuries, Muslim armies steamrolled over unsuspecting neighbors, plundering them of loot and slaves, and forcing the survivors to either convert or pay tribute at the point of a sword. The Christian crusades against Muslims were a reaction to Muslims advancing into European areas and spreading their convert or die evangelism.

At one time there were many different versions of the Koran. But one of the Caliphs destroyed all but one version and killed those that had the other versions; although we have fragments of those other versions, including a fragment that correctly says Abraham was going to sacrifice his son Isaac, instead of the current Koran which says he was going to sacrifice Ishmael.

You see, the Koran's contradictions underscores it not being inspired by God.

Christians read with surprise in Sura 19:28-29 that Mary, the mother of Jesus, was a sister of Aaron. Learned men of Islam, who are aware that between Miriam, the sister of Aaron, and Miriam or Mary, the mother of Jesus there is a gap of 1500 years, try to persuade us that Mary had a brother, who also happened to be an Aaron. We reject this possibility, because she is also described as the daughter of Imram (Sura 66:12), the Amram of Exodus 6:20. He was indeed the father of Aaron, Moses and Miriam. Besides that, Jelalood Deen has stated that Mary's mother was Hannah. The one who was mentioned in 1 Samuel, chapters 1-2, and who lived about a 1000 years before her "daughter".

All this is a hopeless mix-up of historical events and no argument will convince one that in fact the Quran is right and that Christians have changed their Bibles, as in fact claimed by the Muslims.

Lots of good information Lewis. Ishmael is not the child of the promise, it's a false religion. Only Jesus saves.

Most of these arguments would get thrown right back at us. People claim the Bible is contradictory too. From your links, this is CLEARLY cherry-picking. Nonbelievers can do the same thing to us. Let me explain how this is the case. I'm not pro-muslim, but rather anti-slander and anti-hatred. If you're going to take issue, be rational about it, please.

1) They can claim our scriptures have been modified because towards the beginning, books were moved around. Different versions exist and sometimes can be interpreted differently.
2) There is a difference between strong drink and a little wine. Jesus had wine at passover.

Yes, let's be rational and use logic and address just a couple of your responses. Looking at your response to point 5, firstly, there is no context. The Bible has context as it tells a continuous story, the Qur'an does not as it is a collection of sayings. Secondly, it is a contradiction. Your analogy doesn't work since God making "a mountain so big he can't lift it," is an error in logic. God having children, however, presents no such logical error.

As to your point 6, how do you know those aren't literal claims? Prove that those statements aren't to be taken literally.
