Those who hold to KJV-onlyism are in effect making the same type of mistake Islam assumes when it says the Quran must be read in Arabic. As God's Word, the message of the Old and New Testaments isn't subject to, or confined to any man made language.

God's Word was never meant to be confined to one human language, and has been translated into almost every language, including Arabic. At the same time, those desiring to read God's Word in the English language must seek out the translation which is the most accurate, the most faithful, and the most reliable. A translation that can be rightfully called "the Word of God in English".

Not only is the Authorized Version (KJV or KJB) recognized universally as a masterpiece and an English language classic, but a serious and unbiased study of Bible translations will reveal that modern English translations have some very serious drawbacks in comparision to this translation. This is not generally recognized, because most Christians have been subjected to propaganda rather than truth when it comes to Bible versions. One aspect of this propaganda is to mockingly speak of "KJV-onlyism" as if it were some kind of mental aberration or contagious disease. However Christians who have painstakingly researched this matter will consistenly uphold the KJV (which this writer has done).

The only other Bible that I use is the Amplified Bible, but every translation has to match up with the KJV. Now I have had many translations Williams, Beck, you name it. But the KJV is the standard of all standards.

Amen.

What you will find here is a pack of lies and confusion like only the devil can give. The Quran does not match up with the Bible. Even though Mohammed would always say if you don't believe me go to the Bible' yet the Quran does not match up with the Bible. Here we are going to take a look at Jesus in the Quran' and just by reading the below article you will see how wrong the Quran is. Mohammed said he detested anyone who does not believe the Bible' but yet he did not believe that Jesus was the son of God. You can see the problems already. The Quran is supposed to be a continuation of the Bible' how can that be when it does not match up' like Jesus making clay birds come to life and other garbage in the Quran.

Hello to all.

I am very sad that I can not engage in discussions in this forum since you only tolerate Christianity's viewpoint. In Islamic forums, anyone can say that which is believed in his creed.

In Islam the Qur'an is believed to be the word of God Almighty. He revealed it to Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family). The Gospel, the Torah, the Psalms are also the words of God Almighty. He revealed the Gospel to Jesus, the Torah to Moses, the Psalms to David. He also revealed other books to other prophets. 50 books have been revealed, in sum.

The Qur'an is not a book supposed to be understood as it is read. Only some special people of knowledge, inheritors of the prophets know what is meant in the Qur'an. It is not a book from God to the human beings. It is a book from God to Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family). Only the special people of knowledge who inherited from the prophets understand the meanings of the Qur'an. Therefore, it is forbidden in Islam to read the Qur'an and understand it as it is read.

Moreover the concept of Jesus in Islam is not understood from what is said in the Qur'an. It is understood from what the greatest scholars wrote about Jesus, because those greatest scholars understand the Qur'an as they inherited knowledge from the prophets.

Those scholars said Jesus is a prophet, like there have been other prophets before and after him. Those scholars say Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family) is also a prophet, but he is the Seal of the prophets. There shall be no more prophet after Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family). The Qur'an is not a continuation of the Gospel. It is a summation of all previous revelations and contain additional revelation.

Jesus was not crucified. The one who betrayed him was made to look like him and was crucified. Jesus was raised to the heavens. Jesus represents bliss.

Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family) taught that the Bible is corrupted. It is full of forgeries and distortions made by men. This corrupted Bible has nothing to do with the Divine Gospel revealed by God to Jesus through the Angel Gabriel. Muslims hate Christians for what they say about Jesus (Christians say Jesus was killed and crucified).

My prayer for you is that you would have the courage to seek the one God who is the Creator of all. To seek His truth.
I would encourage you to read the New Testament that bears witness to the truth. I would encourage you to pray to the Creator that He would show you this truth.
I would encourage you to do the same and read the Quran for yourself with the same appeal to the Creator to show you the truth.
Deu 4:29 But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.
