Sure...
Heb 4:15..."For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin."
Where in that verse does it say Jesus had deficiencies of a plain old man." ?Sure...
Heb 4:15..."For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin."
First the verse: "And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began." (εἶχον πρὸ τοῦ τὸν κόσμον εἶναι. John 17:5)First the verse: "And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began." (εἶχον πρὸ τοῦ τὸν κόσμον εἶναι. John 17:5)
Wouldn't you think the "Divine" would know when the end of the world is?
Jesus is divine now, since His ascension and the acquisition of His glorified body.
So...nothing.So..?
If He had something more than we have, it would be unfair to expect us to walk as He walked. In no way does this say that "He had all the attributes and deficiencies of a plain old man."
Hebrews 4:14-16, "Therefore since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast to our confession. For we do not have a high priest incapable of sympathizing with our weaknesses, but one who has been tempted in every way just as we are, yet without sin. Therefore let us confidently approach the throne of grace to receive mercy and find grace whenever we need help."
Your interpretation of Scripture is wrong, amigo!
He hungered, thirsted, tired, feared, and every other manifestation of men.Where in that verse does it say Jesus had deficiencies of a plain old man." ?
The verse says He feels our infirmities as He was once tempted, but being fully God and fully man He could not fall to those temptations. If He would have then He would not have been the Messiah.
Technically, He wasn't "Jesus" till He had flesh.Jesus Christ is and has always been YHWH, the Lord God.
He created all things.
He is the Eternal Son of God; the only begotten of the Father.

He wasn't the Son of God until He was born of a woman.
He wasn't the Son of God until He was born of a woman.
So?So...nothing.
It was the sequence of events.
He was/is the divine Son of God. He has been resurrected from the tomb and is sitting -- present tense -- at God's right hand.If He had something more than we have, it would be unfair to expect us to walk as He walked.
He got hungry...right?
He needed sleep...right?
He thirsted...right?
He wore clothing...right?
What exactly do you think we have that He didn't?
Jesus wasn't God's son until He was born. He, as the only begotten Son of God, has nothing to do with Mary giving birth to Him.
The Son of God created all things.
He was begotten of the Father before the heavens and the earth were created.
But to the Son He says:
“Your throne, O God, is forever and ever;
A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom.
You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness;
Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You
With the oil of gladness more than Your companions.”
And:
“You, LORD, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth,
And the heavens are the work of Your hands.
Hebrews 1:8-10
The Son of God created the heavens and the earth.
again
He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. Colossians 1:15-17
How far off are we with the new divine nature from that?He was/is the divine Son of God. He has been resurrected from the tomb and is sitting -- present tense -- at God's right hand.
Thank you for capitalizing the Word's name in this post.John 1:14 kjv
14. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
