Heb 4:15..."For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin."

In no way does this say that "He had all the attributes and deficiencies of a plain old man."

Hebrews 4:14-16, "Therefore since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast to our confession. For we do not have a high priest incapable of sympathizing with our weaknesses, but one who has been tempted in every way just as we are, yet without sin. Therefore let us confidently approach the throne of grace to receive mercy and find grace whenever we need help."

Where in that verse does it say Jesus had deficiencies of a plain old man." ?

The verse says He feels our infirmities as He was once tempted, but being fully God and fully man He could not fall to those temptations. If He would have then He would not have been the Messiah.

Wouldn't you think the "Divine" would know when the end of the world is?
Jesus is divine now, since His ascension and the acquisition of His glorified body.

Jesus Christ is and has always been YHWH, the Lord God.

He created all things.

He is the Eternal Son of God; the only begotten of the Father.

Your interpretation of Scripture is wrong, amigo!
If He had something more than we have, it would be unfair to expect us to walk as He walked.
He got hungry...right?
He needed sleep...right?
He thirsted...right?
He wore clothing...right?

What exactly do you think we have that He didn't?

He hungered, thirsted, tired, feared, and every other manifestation of men.
What did He not experience on earth that we must endure?

Technically, He wasn't "Jesus" till He had flesh.
He wasn't the Son of God until He was born of a woman.
He was the Word until then.

It is just semantics.

He wasn't the Son of God until He was born of a woman.

He, as the only begotten Son of God, has nothing to do with Mary giving birth to Him.

The Son of God created all things.

He was begotten of the Father before the heavens and the earth were created.

But to the Son He says:
“Your throne, O God, is forever and ever;
A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom.
You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness;
Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You
With the oil of gladness more than Your companions.”
And:
“You, LORD, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth,
And the heavens are the work of Your hands.

Hebrews 1:8-10

The Son of God created the heavens and the earth.

again

He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. Colossians 1:15-17

If He wasn't the Son of God until He was Born of a woman how do you understand Isa 9:6

6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Doesnt this verse imply He was a Son prior to being given ?

He was/is the divine Son of God. He has been resurrected from the tomb and is sitting -- present tense -- at God's right hand.

How far off are we with the new divine nature from that?
Just one resurrection away.
"Come quickly Lord".

Understanding how something is before it is manifested is tough, but things happen that way,

Let us make man in our image:
1. Us is more than one.
2. Adam had a body first.
3. Then he breathed

A. The word was with God the Father in heaven
B. The word became flesh on earth
C. The man Jesus manifested the traits of the Father
D. Jesus returned to the right hand of the Father
E. Changed us will meet Him in the air

The sun is nuclear fission and fusion
That energy is light
That light powers photosynthesis
Photosynthesis produces plants
Plants produce seeds
Seeds are eaten and become flesh
If man opens the door he becomes a son
etc.

Thank you for capitalizing the Word's name in this post.

Thank you for capitalizing the Word's name in this post.
The Words name for repentance is John (sent by the Father who has many names).

The Words name for empowerment to witness is Holy.

John, Jesus, Holy.

One name for salvation - Jesus, but other names for other actions.

Titles are legal descriptions of offices of something.

Personally I think we argue ( terrible ) over splitting our understanding, rather than embracing what we share.

Jesus Christ was the Son of God before He was manifested through the virgin birth 1 Jn 3:5,8

And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.

He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

The word manifested phaneroō means:

to make manifest or visible or known what has been hidden or unknown, to manifest, whether by words, or deeds, or in any other way

  1. make actual and visible, realised

  2. expose to view, make manifest, to show one's self, appear
