What I see in the scriptures is that Jesus would not allow himself to be king of Israel when the Jews tried to make him their king(John 6:14,15) because the heavenly Kingdom that Jesus is king of is no part of this world. So I follow the example of Jesus and as a Christian obey the laws of any nation I live in, as long as it doesn't contradict God's laws. So I disagree with being involved in political parties, political social reforms, and wars, etc. So I choose to not be involved in these things, but remain neutral. It's the heavenly kingdom that Jesus is king of and is not part of this world, I believe to be the hope of mankind, so I believe this kingdom to be a actual government that Jesus is king of, and it's this government, that's going to solve issues like hunger, homelessness, sickness, death, and war, etc. I believe in putting God in my life first and foremost so I truly believe it's this heavenly kingdom that Jesus is king of should be where our hope is that will solve issues like, hunger, homelessness, sickness, death and wars.
When it comes to subjects like Blood, Holidays, Trinity, Soul, He'll 144, 000. These are subjects that have been debated on for centuries, long before the Watchtower was in existence. It seems to me too many people today don't think people have the right to disagree. Me, I'm going to exercise my right to disagree with someone. Like, for instance, I can see for myself what Acts 15:24-29 says, because I can read. You know what things I find significant in these scriptures? At verse 28 the older men in Jerusalem and God's Holy Spirit said, "For the holy spirit and we ourselves have favored adding no further burden to you except these necessary things: to keep abstaining from things sacrificed to idols, from blood, from what is strangled, and from sexual immorality. If you carefully keep yourselves from these things, you will prosper. Good health to you!” I noticed what God's Holy Spirit and the Jews in Jerusalem were saying about things that were necessary to abstain from were. I noticed that it's clear that it's equally necessary to abstain from things sacrificed to idols as it is equally necessary to abstain from sexual immorality, and that it's equally necessary to abstain from blood as it's equally necessary to abstain from sexual immorality, and that it's equally necessary to abstain from things strangled as it's equally necessary to abstain from things strangled.
When it comes to the word soul in the scriptures, some people teach that human beings have souls, others say the scriptures teach that human beings are souls. This too has been debated on for centuries, long before the watchtower was in existence.
I think everyone knows that people will choose to believe what they choose to believe. So there's going to be people who believe differently. Each individual person is responsible for searching the scriptures and finding the truth. Obviously there's going to be people who will disagree with what that truth is. That doesn't mean that the truth can't be found in the scriptures, and if people disagree with what you choose to believe, so what. Jesus Christ wasn't believed by the majority of the Jews of his day and he said the way people treated him that those who are truly his disciples will be treated the same way. That doesn't necessarily mean you would be put to death like him but you would be persecuted just as they persecuted him. The Jews of Jesus day called Jesus a blasphemer, a demon, a law breaker(so a criminal). So if someone says you're a false believer that you're part of the antichrist that your on the side of demons I wouldn't put too much though into it. The people who say such things to you are imperfect human beings like yourself. I'm going to go by what God inspired to be written down and if people dislike that or disagree with it, so what. I, most likely disagree with how they believe, which is my right. People will speak out against this religious organization and that religious organization.
